After a new round of sparring erupted on Twitter in December, Rimes, the current wife of actor Eddie Cibrian, and Glanville, Cibrian's ex-wife, have continued to stoke those still smoking embers well into the New Year. Justin Timberlake to perform at Super Bowl eventWith his new single selling well, Justin Timberlake is easing back into performing. The actor/musician will be a special guest at DirecTV's pre-Super Bowl "Super Saturday Night" event on February 2, which will be co-hosted by Mark Cuban. Questlove will also be on deck to keep the crowd grooving before and after Timberlake's set. It's unknown what he'll perform, but we're guessing his new song with Jay-Z, "Suit & Tie," is up for consideration. Timberlake's appearance at the "Super Saturday Night" shindig will be his first concert in nearly five years, and it'll be for a good cause. His show is solely to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children, according to a statement. Unfortunately, only those invited to the private "Super Saturday Night" party will get to see Timberlake perform; tickets aren't available for purchase. J. Lo, Aretha Franklin weigh in on Beyonce-gateWhile the world awaits final word from Queen Bey herself on whether her Inauguration Day performance was truly a fake-out, other singers are coming to her defense. Or, finding humor in the situation, if said singer's name happens to be Aretha Franklin. Jennifer Lopez took up for Beyonce when she visited "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Tuesday, explaining (as many before her did that day) that lip-syncing is far from uncommon. NKOTB, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees to deliver with 'Package' tourIf reliving the '90s sounds like the perfect must-do this summer, you're in luck: New Kids on the Block has organized a '90s boy band tour. The group, referred to as NKOTB, announced Tuesday that they've joined forces with Boyz II Men (squee!) and 98 Degrees (OMG!) for "The Package Tour." |
