Lisa Whelchel joins Tyler Perry movieAfter going on her first audition in 33 years, Lisa Whelchel is proud to say she landed the part. The 49-year-old actress will appear in "Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas," her first role since "The Facts of Life Reunion" in 2001. "I play the role of Nancy Porter, the country school principal," Whelchel told People magazine. "I'm having fun!" She'd previously mentioned when she exited the last season of "Survivor" that she was open to new opportunities in entertainment. "I'd host, I'd do a sitcom," she told the magazine of the possibilities in her post-"Survivor" life. "Really, I've got a lot of opportunities." "Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas" is expected to bow December 13.

Love Lisa. She's currently on the Jeff Probst show, as Jeff is desperately tries to save his sinking show. But even the MIghty Lisa can't save that clunker!
She looks great, and unlike many former child stars, can actually act.
Someone should offer her a dramatic role she can sink her teeth into.

Back in the olden days there wasn't such things as microwave ovens. In the breakroom at work we had to have a fireplace. At lunch we would all stand around the fire roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. Then we would have to go outside to the stream to catch some water to drink. That was before there were computers and stuff. Now you can just push a button on your computer and it will spit out a freshly cooked grilled cheese and some fries. Times are easier these days. Things are good.
We would all bring squirrels to work wrapped up in tin foil. We'd put em in the coals of the fire and let em roast. Then at lunch we'd have good roasted squirrel. Those were hard times at the office.

She used to be but is now real real old. I think she might be in the same nursing home as my gramma. It's fun when we go visit. Me and my sister bet on which oldster's drool will get on their shirt first.
