Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be interesting to read through articles from other writers and practice something from their websites.
Aw, this was a really nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to create a top notch article… but what can I say… I put things off a whole lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.

"Beasts of the Southern Wilds" best movie this year. even more when considered it is an independent film.
the live version is always much better.
i saw les Miserables, the BEST movie i've seen all winter! there were some extremely talented people acting in there!
Reblogged this on Under the limelight.
with this star wars mess is so sad... i could use some coke for my upset tummy
1. ate memory
2. continues to harass the family
3. fell for all trix..continue
4. california
jon...continue process she continues to get cute with the golden globes...
i'm sure there is a bipolar med in there somewhere...thanks...
If you've seen the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards, you already know the Oscar winners. I remember when everyone anticipated the Oscars, now it's more of a anti-climax, just a repeat of the previous award shows. No surprises. It's very disappointing.
I delight in, cause I discovered just what I was taking a look for. You have ended my 4 day lengthy hunt! God Bless you man. Have a great day. Bye
I love to watch the Oscars every year, in recent years, I even place a bets on individual nominations. This year, I tip the winning of Lincoln.
In India, there is a controversy going around the nomination of "Life of Pi" lullaby under the original song category. It seems the lyrics are not original and translation from a 200 year old famous lullaby. There are reports that the composer Michael Danna had heard the original, sung by Bombay Jaishri and approached her. It is also reported that Dr.Zoe Sherinian, who did the music research for "Life of Pi", had approached a UK based historian to get details of the song. The strange resemblance between the two songs had created this controversy.
confirmed guys
Though I did dislike the film, why is Dark Knight not on there more? Why not the Hobbit for Cinematography?
Plus at this rate there should be a section called "Best Comic Book Film"
has anyone see that one yet.
Cloud Atlas is neither a great nor a particularly popular film, but it deserved nominations for adapted screenplay, costuming/makeup, and perhaps film editing. It is an ambitious effort that put a very challenging postmodern novel on the screen and made the novel's structure work fairly well.
be right back
Just curious about what everyone thinks will be the best movie. Let me know here:

Thanks,

i love the oscars...its so much fun to be glammed up for the event
do we know if bob barker will be the announcer this year? what a night that will be!
Is Richard Burton nominated? What an actor.
there are so man wonderful actors...but i do agree with alllll of daniel's mental battles he's a great actor
and i hope he wins...
i hope daniel wins...he's an awsome actor...he had mental problems over the years...one mental breakdown but he's well and he really deserves the oscar.
i saw lincoln..he was fantastic.
ohhhhh. so, should I run out and see it again? Missed Brad. no award nomination. Should get award for having most kids with nannys taking care of them. WOW, add aother Brad to the brood.
but Daniel deserves it...
with the FBI and the police department...hey if i was 20 years younger i would have gone for it
good for angelina!!!!
sorry, I think you misunderstood my statement. She's a "wannabe" for CIA or whatever. Her problem is she looks emaciated (doesn't she have eough money to purchase some food?); she's rediculous with her very poor FAKE British accent and the story lines aree all duplicates.
So, I guess the Brangelinas either did not do any pictures in 2012 or they stunk like all the rest they make. No one wants to see spy films where a 'girl' tries to do the super human. Angelina needs to gett a real job with the CIA or somethinng and Brad needs to stay home with the kids.
owns the golden globes.
Hello There. I found your weblog the use of msn. This is an extremely neatly written article. I will be sure to bookmark it and come back to read more of your helpful info. Thanks for the post. I will definitely return.
I Haven't seen Lincoln or Silver Linings Playbook yet!!
Words are words. I know it's trite but "Sticks and stones may break . . ." White people and black people are too sensitive when it comes to race. Black people, stop being so easily offended. It is 2013. Being racist is a huge flaw today. That is their problem, not yours. lol. And white people, stop being so controlled by semantics and guilt. The guilt thing is just as annoying as racism. You don't owe me anything.
you can watch the movie...please just stfu. geeze.
Oh poo. I didn't see my name in there. Oh well 🙂
nuff said
i so own her...baaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaa
you did it....we will remain until we see oscar envelope..
What about Batman??
*We CAN'T win everything.*
I'm going to see Life of Pi tomorrow! The book is truly amazing!
For blacks to only be 12% of the population, we are doing VERY well. Stop whining. We can win everything. We still dominate given the ratio of our population.
expected especially female.
Wow, Alot People That Where Fabulous In Alot Of Movies & Actor's/Actress White or Black Wasn't Pick "Fox, Leonardo, Jackson,& Tom Hooper; I 4Got The Lady Name Actin Has Fox Wife Bromhilda" Sum Other's" ??!! I'm Happy 4 Denzal Washington Gettin Another Nod @ It Again 4 Not Actin Like A Thug & Mariah Growin Be Wonderful Actress (callin married women hoe go figure??), & Beautiful Talented Little Girl Q. Wallis!! Oh Well I Guess Might Not Watch It Again This Year, If I Get The Spirit I Will.. Blessings!!
Lose your caps key.
Alot is not a word. It's supposed to be 2 words. A lot. My college professor would give you a giant F on your comment for that alone.
I am suprised Leo and Sam Jackson didn't get the nom for supporting.
What's with the snub for Ben Affleck as an individual for director and/or actor?
I wondered the same thing. Just who did he tick off in Hollywood? He deserves it for ARGO – amazing movie.
went well. as they always do.
they are cheap like fords.
never. people have an entire staff that do that now yay Oscar.
They were uneasy sitting by you because they thought you would snap, pull out a semiautomatic and fire 30 rounds.
i like this show but unfortunately it will be cancelled.
Django Unchained should be nominated for more categories.
Ben Affleck and QT both should have been nominated for Best Director. This years two best films are Argo and Django!
I agree!! Both films are excellent
Damn shame when a tasteless, war monger movie like zero dark thirty is nominated for best picture. It isn't even in theaters, yet!
How is it war mongering? It's based on the story or catching Osama Bin Laden. You make no sense.
It had a limited release. That fits the qualifications. All they need is just one theatre and it's good, even if it doesn't go wide until after the awards ceremony.
give it to denzel....he deserves it. blacks still do not get many awards nowadays...
If they were nicer. Why are they so mean?
i have never met a mean black person.
Just a heads up: Quevenzhane Wallis is a 6 year old African-American girl nominated for Best Actress for "Beasts of the Southern Wild" so it's not like the "blacks" are being overlooked. Haven't seen the movie, but apparently she was outstanding. And she is SIX. Didn't see the Denzel movie either because the subject matter didn't interest me, but I'm sure he was excellent–he's a great actor.
Breasts of the Southern Wild" should win...oh sorry i mean't Beasts
So, because Denzel Washington is black, he should win an award? And you wonder why we will never get beyond racial discrimination. Your thinking is one of the reasons why.
Flight was a good movie. It would have been a really good movie but they tacked on a Hollywood ending. Denzel Washington and John Goodman were both fabulous. Why wasn't Goodman nominated? But all signs point ot Lincoln for best actor at the Oscars.
Beast of the southern wild....all the way.
Has been getting the black people on the black blogs all up in arms from day one. I do so enjoy pushing their buttons.
My wife and I went to see it, we are black, African American, what ever you are calling us this week and we found the movie to be very entertaining and hilarious. What buttons do you think you pushed, The N-word as they call it was used 110 times in the move thats about 1 tenth of the number of times its said on the corner of urban area USA. I have to be honest, we did enjoy how uneasy the white couples to our left and right felt during the movie. I think each time they looked at my wife and I they saw Django and Broomhilda sitting there with machetes.
Look at you being defensive.
The got uneasy sitting by you because they thought you and your wife were going to mug them. Lol
Juan...what would you like us to call you this week? I can't keep up with all of the 'politically correct' changes.
It seems as though you are being very defensive. You are one of the reasons we'll never get beyond racial profiling. I've been around a long time, and it's been years and years since I've heard the 'N' word, as you call it, used. We'll call you whatever you'd like to be called. Just tell us what the word of the day is.
Where's Leonardo's nom or Jamie Foxx. Geuss the white pple at the oscars will make sure the crap wins... ie Les Mis and Lincoln.
alot of whites skinned people aren't ho's–
why would mariah be nominated...she's a ho
Without a doubt John Hawkes should have received a nomination for The Sessions.
i hope that django unchained and denzel washington wins
jamie's girlfriend is a thug-she smells too
I can't believe Jamie Fox isn't nominated. Guess he will have to play a thug 1st and not a man fighting for his woman!!
Never like seeing my favorite movie of the year, "Looper", receive less nominations than my most hated movie of the year, "Ted". I really thought it would at least pick up an original screenplay nod.
Also, kind of surprised they only went with 9 best picture nominees, leaving off movies like Looper, The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, and Skyfall. My guess is it's between Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook.
...are you being serious?
Skyfall deserved better. Could have garnered a best picture nomination, but more terribly, Javier Bardem didn't getting nominated for best supporting actor for his roles as, arguably, the best Bond villain to date.
Well this is a shame – no love for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained or Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master? And what about Wes Anderson for best director?
My favoirites in order 1)Silver Linings Playbook 2) Les Miserables 3) Lincoln 4) Argo
I can't believe Tom Hooper isn't nominated for best director for Les Miserables. He won best director for The King's Speech....and he isnt even nominated?!
I KNOW RIGHT!!!
i thought he would be nominated but i guess i was wrong...
totally unfair. That was the best movie ever.
