Michael Bay hires new actor for 'Transformers 4'The name Jack Reynor likely doesn't sound familiar now, but you should be well-acquainted by the time "Transformers 4" is released. Michael Bay revealed on his website Tuesday that he's tapped Reynor to star alongside Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming "Transformers" installment.
"[H]e is an Irish kid that came to America with 30 bucks in his pocket," Bay wrote of Reynor. "Pretty ballsy. Seriously who does that? Anyway I spotted him in a great little Irish movie 'What Richard Did.' This kid is the real deal." Bay's latest go-round with the action franchise is slated to arrive in 2014, and the filmmaker has clarified that it won't be a reboot. "This movie takes place exactly four years after the war in Chicago," Bay said on his site. "The story makes a very natural transition." And seeing that this movie will have a brand-new cast, with former franchise star Shia LaBeouf publicly washing his hands of the series, we believe Bay when he says that "this 'Transformers' will feel very different than the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy." "Transformers 4" is expected to start filming in the spring.

I don't know. I guess I'm in a minority. I liked Shia and his parents in the movie and the entire supporting cast. I really like Megan Fox. She has an appeal unique to herself and the looks to support that appeal.

Transformers 1 was amazing. Great story, humor was excellent and the action and effects were totally amazing. This movie is by far one of my favorites. Only someone who hasn't seen the movie in HD on a large screen would make such an ignorant comment. There's a reason this movie made as much money as it did and everyone has seen it.
I'm not going to say someone should kill Michael Bay before he ruins our lives with any more horrible movies....But I would not contradict someone who said that....
Too bad the cartoons have more plot than the movies...

LeBouf is awesome, we should be thanking God that he wouldn't go back into the franchise, he has better work to do. Name any other actor and most likely they would have done a worse performance! I hope Michael Bay fizzles out soon, these big franchise directors are ruining what could otherwise be good films.

All I have to say is that Major Lenox had better be in this movie...... He is one of the main reasons that I go, but also to see Opitmus Prime too... But Bumblebee is my car.. I would like to have a car just like him.. But I'm not paying 65 thousand dollars for him... "AUTOBOTS TRANSFORM"!!!!!!
