'Late Night' hosts a mini-'Cosby' reunion"Guys with Kids" actress Tempestt Bledsoe reunited with her TV dad Bill Cosby on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Friday, proving that the pair's comedic timing is as sharp as ever. "The Cosby Show": Where are they now? The former Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable said the moment was "like Santa Claus," with the gift presumably being the story of the "greatest line" delivered by Bledsoe, who portrayed Vanessa Huxtable. Cosby fans can probably vividly recall the pilot episode exchange the comic legend described:
"We did the pilot, and Tempestt was this tall, and she had Rudy (Keshia Knight Pulliam) with her, who was this tall," Cosby said. "I had written a typical scene where your children just burst into the room when you're with their mother. And I straightened her out in the script and I said, 'look, you knock first. Just don't walk in. You knock first, and then I will say, "who is it?" and you will say who it is.'" And we all know how well that turned out. Bledsoe told Fallon that she and Cosby, who encouraged her to take on a full load of college classes while filming the late '80s-early '90s sitcom by organizing the production schedule around her class times, still get together pretty often. "She's not telling you the truth," Cosby joked. "Sometimes my checks are late. And that's when I see Tempestt and her mother." Of course, another memorable moment was the anniversary episode in which the Huxtables performed Ray Charles' "Night and Day" for their grandparents ... and Cosby and Bledsoe did a little rendition for Fallon: [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gjA4TGRmU4&w=560&h=315%5D |

I can remember getting up on Saturday morning just to watch Fat Albert and Cosby kids cartoon. That was when cartoons were really enjoyable. Bill Cosby has always been the role model for many young people and parents for that matter. He is funny, intelligent, and considers education the most important part of life. Thanks Bill for many years of laughs.
A rare class act is Bill Cosby.
He should do another jello pudding commercial. 🙂
Bill and Tempestt in the same room at the same time is hardly a Cosby cast "reunion"...
Hence the term MINI.
