Jennifer Lopez: Mentally, I'm 16 to 18Jennifer Lopez applies the adage "age is nothing but a number" to herself as well as her love life. Harper's Bazaar: J.Lo's best beauty moment of 2012 The singer/dancer/actress is turning 44 this year, but she tells Harper's Bazaar in its February issue that her mental age is "16 to 18."
"That's when I became the person that I am," she says. "Even though I didn't realize the whole journey I would go on, I still feel all that youthfulness." "He's fantastic; he's like my best friend," she says of Smart, 25. "I can tell him everything, when I'm feeling down, when I'm feeling good. He gives moral support, endless love and support." He also helps out with the kids, who have grown accustomed to "being around a lot of people," Lopez continued. "They're open, happy, curious, smart, loving, affectionate. They're ... rambunctious." Harper's Bazaar: J.Lo's post-pregnancy workout routine And while she could have slowed it all down and signed up for being an "American Idol" judge and nothing more, the star says she wouldn't have found that as fulfilling. "I'm not a judge for a living," Lopez says. "I'm a singer. I'm a dancer. I'm a performer. I'm an actress. That's what I'm supposed to be doing. It makes me a better parent, a better person."

Why is she saying this stuff?. It does not make her seem young. It makes her seem desperate. She is so accomplished, has had so much success and she is still insecure about aging as a woman. So sad. Since your IQ doesn't change much over the years between childhood and senility, that means the average person with an IQ of 100 has a Mental Age of 15. Ms. Lopez's claim of a Mental Age of 16 to18 would correspond to an IQ of 107 to 120, which is probably correct for somebody who has been so successful.

There's nothing wrong with feeling younger than your age and staying energetic and active and everything, but it's just creepy to say you feel like a teenager at 45, and to date a 25 year old. So her career really took off at around that age, so she just wants to re-live it basically? I would think if you had some semblance of fulfillment in your current life you'd feel less of an inclination to live in the past, be it bad or good. She seems like she's emotional stagnant and desperate to hold on to the past and fight change and growth, and that's kind of the 'ugly' side of holding on to your youth. but then again what do I know i dont know the woman...

Even though she lied about it, like most celebrities, 42 going on 43 is not exactly the most fertile time, most women are infertile by age 44 due to aging eggs, fertility clinics normally will not even take a woman past 42 or 43 max using their own eggs they know the success rate is so low, she is only what 7-8 years younger than Demi Moore? Demi Moore could have had kids but she probably did not want to use donor eggs or a surrogate like most older celebrities that choose to lie about it? Do you really think Angela Bassett and Nancy Grace used their own eggs in their late 40s early 50s to have their twins? I work in health care, the wealthy and celebs try to pretend they don't do these things only a few are honest about it like Celine Dion, Marcia Cross, Angelina Jolie was even honest about it, although at her age she was doing it she said for convenience of having the twins vs a singleton.

She was white to begin with, latino isn't a race. I'm actually from the island (Puerto Rico) and i can tell you most people like her are usually of spanish descent. There are white latinos, black latinos, the native american/ tainos or even a mixture of the three. But i can tell you she is white. Btw i'm a black puerto rican.
Hispanic is a race not an ethnicity, you can be black and hispanic and white and hispanic or indian or a combination of any or all three, she has so much white in her she refused to participate in DNA testing as she did not want to alienate her non white fans, George Lopez said 'bring it on' meaning the DNA testing, most Hispanics identify themselves as white according to the census bureau anyway, whenever you see her without makeup and spray tans she is quite light, as is Mariah Carey, check out pictures at the beach, in water, etc., light complexions naturally.
