Jessica Simpson is expectingJessica Simpson knows a picture is worth a thousand words. The singer and fashion designer announced her first pregnancy in October 2011 when she tweeted a photo of herself dressed as a mummy – get it?! Now, a mere six months after welcoming her daughter with Eric Johnson, Simpson has posted another telling image. This time the photo isn’t of her belly, but her little bundle of joy, Maxwell Drew. Dressed in a festive red and white striped onesie, Maxwell appears alongside the words “Big sis,” which are written in the sand. Simpson’s rep confirmed to CNN that the new mom is, in fact, expecting.

I would worry about healing on the inside. I read that a woman takes up to 1 yr. or more for everything to get back in place and heal. I am happy for her. She should take care of her health without it how will she take care of her babies.
Agreed. However most doctors recommend waiting at least a year before getting pregnant again. However, I am sure Jess has enough money to get topnotch prenatal care.
I don't usually post to these but some people are so ignorant and mis-informed. I just want to say this. It took over 2 1/2 years to get pregnant with my daughter nearly 20 years ago. We tried everything to get pregnant and were just about to the point of looking into IVF. I then ended up pregnant again when my daughter was barely 9 months old totally by surprise. I had the intentions of my children being no more than two or three years apart at the very least - if I could even get pregnant a second time. I stopped taking the pill in early December of that year thinking even if I got pregnant when my daughter was one, they would be nearly two years apart when the new baby arrived. I had no idea I would get pregnant so easily the second time and neither did my doctors. My children are 18 months apart - two years apart in school years - and they are very close which is what I wanted. My sister and I were nearly 6 years apart and we weren't as close as I would have liked to have been. So, not everything is what it seems.
I'm expecting too... I'm expecting her to get even fatter after baby #2.

Do you really believe that Jessica, a high school drop out, runs a business? Second of all, the fact that she's pregnant again suggests that she will do anything to avoid dieting. I wonder if she will give back the $4 million Weight Watchers gave her to lose weight? Isn't it amazing that someone would have to pay her to lose weight? Even with $4 million she didn't lose much of the weight.

Steve, that's a ridiculous statement. This article was found in the entertainment section of the CNN website. If you want to read about Syria go to the "news" section. There is also a sports section, a money section, a religious section, etc. It always boggles my mind when someone goes to the entertainment section of a news site and complains that an article isn't news.

My brother and I are exactly 12 months apart. It was great growing up with a close-in-age buddy... and it still is.
My sister has two children, both sons. They are exactly thirteen months apart in age. They are young adults now but have always been the best of friends. They always looked out for each other and still continue to do so even though the older of the two is now pre-med and in the East coast.
My daughter is less than a year older than my son–they are 14 & 15 now– and we wouldn't have it any other way. My brother and sister are twins, and my sister has twins, so I joke mine are twins the hard way! 😉
