Snooki's advice for mom-to-be Kate MiddletonAs a member of the "Jersey Shore's" royal court - if not the queen bee - new mom Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has some words of wisdom to share with the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton. "It's hard, but don't stress out!" Snooki advised Kate in the New York Daily News. The 25-year-old reality star and her fiancé Jionni LaValle welcomed their first child, son Lorenzo, in August.
"Enjoy your pregnancy and be excited," Snooki continued, congratulating Kate and Prince William on the news of their impending arrival. The Duchess of Cambridge's best looks The palace confirmed the royal couple are expecting their first child on Monday, after Kate was admitted to a hospital in London with acute morning sickness. Snooki, who announced that she was pregnant via an Us Weekly magazine cover, also advised Kate on how to deal with the paparazzi. "Enjoy your time at home - or the castle, in her case - with the baby. Especially the first few months." Of Kate, she added, "I'm sure she will be an amazing mom."

While I would never consider Snooki an expert on maternal affairs, her "Royalty" is no more or less fake than William and Kate's. Snooki's royalty was created by a series of script writers, who were desperate for some kind of garbage to fill a tv time slot; the British Empire's royalty was created by a series of age old peasants who couldn't (or wouldn't) think for themselves, and needed someone to rule over them.

Snooki tells the princess to "enjoy her pregnancy" when it's put her in the hospital? That's so rude! Obviously with HG the princess can't be "enjoying her pregnancy" right now...and Snooki probably had an easier time with it, which is why she doesn't understand. Hopefully Catherine will feel better very soon and will be able to "enjoy her pregnancy" – but before then, telling her that is just a slap in the face!

i purposely skipped the reading of this article just to comment... why would CNN put up on their front page something about snooki and being a mother... the duchess of cambridge did not solicit ANY advice from snooki, yet CNN has decided to perpetuate the 'celebrity' status of this nobody. CNN you are a member of the mass media, act like it. Quit trying to be MTV or TMZ.
CNN staff is now full of idiots! They would've posted any comment made by nobody's like KimK, Coco or Honey BooBoo believing we think these people's opinions really matter to us. This is another example of lazy reporting by news website! If the NY Dailey news reported it CNN is stupid for cutting and pasting it onto their website! Are there any real reporters out their investigating the news anymore or is that being outsourced to the AP! The majority of news stories online either come copied from the AP or some other news source not originated from the site. The state of journalism in this country is like the economy falling off a cliff!

I actually respect Snooki alot more than Kate. She's accomplished alot more on her own and didn't just marry into money or fame.

Care to inform me what Snookie has 'accomplished?' Garnering fame through reality television is not really better than marrying in to it. And prior to her marriage, Catherine attended university and worked as a photographer and web designer. She married a prince, but presumably because she loves him. Her family is wealthy regardless so I hardly think it was for the money.
I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think this is a fair comment. It's ridiculous to compare the two. Sure, Kate Middleton got famous "the easy way," but I don't think that her goal has been to be famous, and I suspect she'd rather NOT be famous. We have no reason to think that her goal has been to be rich, either. She's an intelligent and well-educated woman and could be, and was, doing something else. Now her options are rather limited by duty.
