Charlie Sheen: 'Two and a Half Men' is cursed

To Charlie Sheen, it isn't faith that's causing the current uproar over "Two and a Half Men" but a curse.

The 47-year-old actor has caught wind of his former co-star Angus T. Jones' complaints about the long-running CBS sitcom, on which Sheen himself starred for eight years before being publicly fired from the program.

At the time, Sheen had gone on a rant of his own about "Two and a Half Men," appearing to call those he worked around "fools" and "trolls."

Jones' remarks had a different spin, with the 19-year-old actor saying that he didn't want to be on the show because it conflicted with his beliefs as a Christian. In Sheen's view, Jones' lengthy confession was a "Hale-Bopp-like meltdown," as his rep told CNN in a statement.

In light of the latest drama, "it is radically clear to me that the show('Two and a Half Men') is cursed," Sheen said.

And yet, he hasn't lost any love for Jones. Now that he's playing a counselor named Charlie Goodson over on his own show, FX's "Anger Management," Sheen tells ABC News that "my former nephew is welcome at the Goodson Anger Management home anytime."

For now, however, it looks like Jones is mending fences at his current place of employment. The teen actor issued an apology to the show's team Tuesday.

Charlie Sheen launched a charity this week, and his first project is to raise money for a baseball fan critically injured in an attack after a Los Angeles Dodgers game. The actor's Sheen's Corner foundation will donate profits from merchandise sales at his stage show in San Francisco on Saturday night to the "Brian Stow Fund," Sheen representative Larry Solters :

I'm a fairly mature women and I thought for 8 years the show was really funny. I was always amazed at some of the subject matter they could get away with. I did not think it was "12 year old fart humor" but rather a show filled with great one liners. I think Charlie Sheen was way off base with his comments and should have been fired but I will be the first to admit he made the show. The supporting cast is wonderful, mom, berta, allen and Jake but without Charlie it just doesn't work. Has anyone ever wondered after all this time why Allen has nothing. He no longer has a wife to support , no kid to support and lives totally off of everyone....WHY! Getting very old hat!

I can't believe how blind you people really are...First off, the show is based on the writers, then the actors. When Charlie was fired and went on tour his material really sucked! (i.e. Chicago). Partying, drugs, and his ego is what killed the show!!! He missed many days of work due to his selfishness...He let us all down! I hope he never acts again...

It always amazes me when "celebrities" are making millions every year, and then they whine and moan about how horrible their jobs are. If you despise it so much, then stop drinking from the $ teet, and hurl a real job. That would make you shut up real quick...

If you watched Angus's original comments!!! The man sitting next to him his " spiritual adviser" seems very pleased with himself more than being concerned over Angus!!! I wonder how much money in "tides" they're mooching of of a 19 year old kid! This looks very cultish to me! Where are Angus's parents in all of this! Another example of a Hollywood child actor being taken advantage of! Wake up Angus and find out who is behind you as a friend and who just wants a piece of you!! GOD Bless YOU!

If having one of the top/top rated shows for a decade and bringing you millions and millions of dollars and fame is a curse, I say bring it on! That show revitalized Charlie's career and it made a kid named Angus rich, yet they blame the show and producers. Whatever. WINNING!

It's not cursed Charley. This problem was that YOU made the show. As I see it, with Kutchers as a replacement 2-1/2 men is still short half a man.

2 1/2 Men will never be the same without Sheen.....he made that show what it was. The chemistry between all of them is something that you do not see on the newer show with Kutcher. I've tried watching it a few times but it just wasn't the same. Charlie was the one who made this show and it will never be as popular. It was a nice gesture to say that Angus is invited to be on Charlie's new show any time. Am sure that Angus had a sort of meltdown due to his beliefs but has quickly apologized for his remarks.

I stopped watching the show when Sheen was let go. It jumped the shark even before that. I guess Jones can't leave because he is under contract. He is also 19 and not smart enough to just keep his mouth shut until he can leave bcause all he is doing is drawing attention to this train wreck.

Personally never really liked the show. Didn't like contents of the show. I am glad the kid has his head in the right place. As for sheen. Never cared for his character, probably is most like him in real life. As for Angus, go ahead and get an education you have funds to be something better and present yourself a truly wonderful young man. Be careful with the group you are with. Find yourself and then decide what else to do with your life. Don't get caught with CULTS PLEASE! They just sometimes want your finances. GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE. Yes I am a CHRISTIAN and darn proud of it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People who say Angus should give the money he made being on that show for all the years back are stupid. "Men" was a job, Angus is an actor, he got paid for his acting on that show! Would you give back the money you worked for at your job? Well now we have our answer. Don't get me wrong what Angus did was stupid. I thought for sure his confession would've been followed by a letter of resignation, but then again there are many people who go on facebook and bad mouth their employer thinking they won’t get caught either. Stupid is as stupid does.

It is so nice when someone who has a bad flu and a fever finally has the fever break, and gets up walking around, and starts eating good food and getting their color back. That's what's happening to this country with the illness of religion, we're FINALLY getting healthy, getting our color back, and getting down to the values of what our SECULAR nation is all about.

Drunken Charlie (in the show) still always looks up and talks to "god" in the show, just another delusional religious believer, even if he is a drunk and a playboy. What's really really beautiful about all this is the many comments from people saying how silly and damaging religion is. We "Nones" are really coming out, (only because the internet allows us to speak with fear of christian zealots MURDERING us because we deny the existence of a "higher power.") Charlie Sheen was raised in Hollywood life, but his dad Martin still claims to be catholic. (Might explain why real Charlie is such a mess, just like his carachter) There's still hope for Angus, he's got a lot of money for a good education.

I just don't see all of the uproar as being related to the kid's religion. I think it has more to do with his belief that we all want to KNOW about his religious beliefs. If he wanted out of his contract, thats a talk he should have had with the producer.
