Watch: Will Ferrell will do anything to get you to voteAfter starring in the political comedy "The Campaign" this summer, actor Will Ferrell is doing some campaigning in real life, bringing humor to the rapidly approaching election day. In a YouTube clip, Ferrell promises that he'll "do anything" to get Americans to vote on November 6, including cooking a pasta dinner, eating garbage and/or underpants, or punching himself in the face. If you vote tomorrow, he'll even give you a tattoo - presumably one that would emulate an "I Voted!" sticker - although "fair warning: I do not know how to draw," Ferrell quipped. While it appears that the actor/comedian is encouraging voting in general, he does sneak in support of President Obama. "Vote Obama," Ferrell says as he catches a football. "It's a slam dunk." We'll admit that after seeing "just a taste" of Ferrell's dance moves, we're dying to get a peek at the "full buffet." What do you think of the clip?

That was not only racist but ignorant and inflammatory. You have the right to free speech, but we might consider repealing that amendment just for you. Whether or not anyone agrees with Obama's position, it is both dangerous and exclusionary to falsely label someone and treat alternative religious choices as inferior. Why do people still believe their vote counts for something? Ever heard of the electoral college? Get a clue.
Todd needs a clue. Most states have a “winner-take-all” system that awards all electors to the winning presidential candidate. However, Maine and Nebraska each have a variation of “proportional representation.”
Meaning only 2 states follow the old process whereas other states electoral votes are based on the popular vote of the people in the state. Feel free to 'get a clue' and really learn how the Electoral College works for yourself and don't listen to Todd.

Ummm does anyone in this country realize that your vote does not matter when it comes to the president ?
I live in Texas, which is a "red state", so my vote does not count. I know who will win the electoral votes. On the other hand, if you live in a "battleground" state, your vote DOES count. It's time to do away withthe electoral college and choose a president by popular vote.
You're going to boycott his movies because he exercised his right to free speech? Or because he encouraged people to vote? That makes no sense. I don't agree with celebrity endorsements either but you should have a better reason, like them being lame.

I will never pay again to see a Ferrel movie. I am so sick of these Hollywood types thinking that because they have some level of sucsess as an actor or musician that they have a clue what it's like for the rest of us. Their motivation is guilt for making millions for a month's work while the rest of us work our butts off for a fraction

I hear ya and completely understand how you feel. I don't vote based on what a celebrity thinks or their point of view. I think they should all keep their mouths shut and stop trying to influence the stupid 18 yrs that don't know anything and certainly aren't bright enough to vote based on their needs/wants.
