Adam Levine defends Christina Aguilera against criticsIf you don’t have anything nice to say about Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine doesn’t want you to say it at all. The Maroon 5 singer recently stood up for his fellow “Voice” coach at a press event in New York, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In response to critics of Aguilera’s physical appearance, Levine said, “People shouldn’t say those kind of things because, f- you. It’s like, come on guys, grow up.” “The one thing about the culture right now – celebrity culture particularly – that is so ugly is [that] people feel like they can just say nasty things about other people … she gets a lot of it. It pisses me off,” he added. Despite Levine and Aguilera’s tiffs on the NBC singing competition, Levine told reporters, via THR, “They were silly bickering things that brother and sister would do … it was never serious. We’re all good, Christina and I.” In addition to coaching hopeful singers on “The Voice,” Levine appears as Leo on FX’s “American Horror Story.”

What nasty and pathetic human specimans the majority of you sound like. Many of you are noticeably uneducated and I'm surprised you were able to read the article in order to respond to it....WITH the most horrifying use of the english language. I truly feel sad for all of your wives, mothers, sisters, daughters 🙁 FACTS: Christina has sold millions upon millions of records, has an estimated net worth of $90 million, and she has supported and donated to at least 18 different charitable organizations (many of which help women and children of domestic abuse). I could continue listing but I'm hoping you grasp the "awesomeness" thus far. So ponder on this while you're home this evening eating Ramen for the fifth night in a row, and targeting your next online victim....What positive contribution have YOU made to society?!!! *crickets*....THAT'S what I thought! Oh, and might I suggest buying a dictionary or reading a f-ing book once in a while. Christina is also a HUGE advocate of literacy.

Talk about mean and spiteful-there is a way to get your point across without insulting others. If you would have "read" the article NOT saying mean and spiteful things about people you do not know...(Ramen noodles, really) was and is the point.

Christina may have gained weight, but that is natural. It may not be completely her fault. Adam has a right to defend Christina, without any talk of an ulterior motive. Christina is not "fat" or "tubby". What would you do if someone called one of your friends fat, and they weren't? I know I would stick up for them, but I am having doubts about what the rest of the world would do.
We are trying to tell our kids to stop bullying. Do you all hear yourself. This is where they get it from. So to every one of you that is being negative or saying things, if your child comes home one day after being bullied remember that you are just as bad as the person who bullied them. Celebrity or not it isnt right
That is a fine statement, people should stop worrying about what their neigbors are doing and look at their own house first before passing judgement, besides nobody has a right to judge anyone else, we are all human and all flawed.
oh well. What's a little criticsm to go with the millions of dollars she makes being in the spotlight? It's a tradeoff.
Want to be famous? Then use that money, hire a trainer and chef and look like you care about body.

Poor Adam. He is such a victim of his celebrity and so is Aguilera...not. A good appearance is important, especially if someone dresses as if they still have a size one figure. She is like the women who have babies, can't lose the excess weight, but still squeeze into their pre-baby clothes. It doesn't look right. She needs to wear things that are appropriate to her new figure.

Christina should get together with a great producer now. Her voice and ability to command it are at peak. She already has a tremendous portfolio of work, but she should get serious about recording some completely mind bending tracks now. She may not have all the vocal range of Whitney or Mariah, but I find her overall sound and stylistic impressions amazing. Mr. Levine on the other hand is a no talent and should be grateful for his time in the limelight. He’ll have plenty of time to get more tattoos soon. Didn't Obama promise to close Guantanamo in the first 100 days ? Anyone know why he chose to escalate Afghanistan hostilities immediately after being awarded the Nobel peace prize? Pelosi was all upset the Afghan army wasn't fully trained when Bush was president. After 4 years of Obama the Afghan army still can't pull the wagon and they're killing our people all the time. What's up with that???? I won't get into the Obama 'BP Oil Disaster'.

Hey,people Christina has not been that seventeen year old genie in a bottle for years.she is older and has a child,which in my opinion makes her more beautiful and s@xy than she's ever been.I am proud of her,and kudos to Adam,a real man for standing up for her.

My wife is a size 6/8. She's 5' 7" and weights 130 pounds. Christina has got to have 50 pounds on her.

The camera adds on pounds and Christina is not longer anorexic like she was years ago. Most stars starve themselves or are constantly getting liposuction like Kim Kardasian to look super thin for the pictures and cameras and the ones who don't are labeled fat. Most people are not thin, they have to work at keeping their weight down.
