While you were working ...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • Lindsay Lohan isn't skimping on the publicity push ahead of the premiere for her Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick." The 26-year-old actress will sit down with Barbara Walters for a primetime interview on "20/20" November 16.
  • If you ask Kim Kardashian about her ex Reggie Bush - and his impending fatherhood - while her current boyfriend Kanye West is standing there, then no, he's not going to let you finish. [Radar Online]
  • So, by the looks of these persistent headlines about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart being together and happy again, we must be pretending like everyone didn't lose their minds when Stew Scandal 2012 hit the fan a mere three months ago. We are, huh? OK then. [HuffPo]
  • We had no idea that Brad Pitt felt so ... reflective about Chanel No. 5, or being its spokesperson. We understand if you just want  to watch this on mute. We did:

Overheard: Rihanna's waiting to be asked out, guys

We have a feeling Rihanna and "Twilight" star Ashley Greene would have a few things to discuss over cocktails. Topic A? How much it sucks to date while hot and famous.

The singer and the actress each discuss their respective difficulties maintaining a romantic life in two different interviews - Rihanna with Vogue, and Ashley Greene with Marie Claire.

President Obama weighs in on Nicki/Mariah beef

The blowout between "American Idol" judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj was bad enough to draw the attention of President Obama, apparently.

'Homeland': At long last, vindication

Carrie retrieved items from the apartment of one of Nazir's top commanders, who was gunned down by the CIA. Unbeknownst to Carrie, tucked in those items was the Brody confession video, which a gobsmacked Saul watched as the episode closed.

This week, as he went through security at the Beirut airport, Saul was taken aside by security officials. He begged them not to open his diplomatic bag, reminding them that Lebanese security officials ought to know better than cause a diplomatic incident with the U.S. - unless they work for somebody else, like Hezbollah.

'Boardwalk Empire': The iron man cometh

[Editor's Note: This post contains spoilers for the October 14 episode of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."]

In a way, the entire 58 minutes opened and (more or less) ended with Gyp Rosetti.
