Madonna on Obama endorsement: I was being ironicMadonna's made her allegiance to President Obama's re-election campaign well-known - recall the tattoo she showed off not long ago - so it's not surprising that she rallied attendees at her MDNA concert stop in Washington, D.C., on Monday to vote for him. The surprising part is the way she did it. In a video clip - which uses strong language, so be forewarned - Madonna touched on history and civil rights before telling her fans that they "better vote for f*****g Obama, OK? For better or for worse, alright, we have a black Muslim in the White House."
"Now that is some s***," she continued. "That means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man, g******it." A rousing endorsement, for sure, but, as The Atlantic noted, a little on the odd side considering that it's hard to tell whether Madonna is being serious, confused, or sarcastic with her "black Muslim" comment. Madge later explained that she was being none of the above, saying in a statement she was actually "being ironic on stage." "Yes, I know Obama is not a Muslim, though I know that plenty of people in this country think he is," she continued. "And what if he were? The point I was making is that a good man is a good man no matter who he prays to. I don’t care what religion Obama is - nor should anyone else in America.”

I've never been a Madonna fan. There comes a time when certain entertainers should stop doing live concerts. I know she has many fans, and probably do like seeing her live. I think she should just put out some new songs, and call it good. Saying half baked comments at a concert, does not show any kind of intelligence on her part. You know, with age comes wisdom. She seems to have missed the boat on that one. Just my opinion, though.
i am sick and tired of Hollywood, the muisic industry and the press trying to tell me who I should vote for, what morals I should have and what beliefs are "correct." I don't care what Madona, George Clooney or anyone else in those media has to say about anything as they are as far removed from my personal values as one can get. Madonna isn't aware of what's taking place in the Middle East right now, and how sympathetic our President is to them or how unsympathetic he is to Christians and Jews ( peace loving people who are not trying to kill us) She should be ashamed. The World is blind to this, and they believe everything they see and hear in a political ad, without researching for themselves to know what is taking place. Our only hope is Jesus Christ, and blind eyes will never see until they accept Him into their hearts. Peace!

Just because you comment on a particular behavior does not mean you "hate". But I do hate her.
How does what she has done in the music field make her qualified to endorse a presidential candidate or to try to force her viewers to vote in any particular way? Simple answer: it doesn't. People went to her concert to hear her music not to be force-fed her poitical agenda and beliefs. When somone pays you for the priviledge of seeing you perform, you ought to have enough respect for their own personal beliefs to not try and cram yours down their throat.
I do think the 'lady' is correct in stating that Obama is not a Muzzy.
