Sean Lowe is the new 'Bachelor'We heard rumors back in July that Sean Lowe would be the next to look for love on ABC's "The Bachelor," and the gossip hounds got this one right. ABC announced Tuesday that Lowe, who competed for Emily Maynard's heart on the last season of "The Bachelorette" and lost out to Jef ("with one F") and Arie, is giving reality show romance another try with the 17th season of "The Bachelor."
Although the statement from ABC says the 28-year-old Dallas businessman and entrepreneur was "blindsided" by Emily's decision to withhold a rose, apparently the experience didn't leave him too traumatized. Sean's hoping to meet his "best friend" on the series, and "wants to propose once, be married once and live a faithful family life, like his parents, who have had a loving 35-year union." According to ABC, "Bachelor" Sean has a variety of interests, which surprisingly doesn't specifically include long walks on the beach. (We thought that one came standard.) It turns out Lowe's into "camping, wakeboarding, dancing, outdoor activities, attending concerts and doing just about anything with his two dogs, Lola and Ellie." Are you happy to see Sean return to the "Bachelor" franchise, or would you have preferred to see someone else? And do you think he'll find love this time?

Not wishing to start a political debate ... it appears obvious Sean is a southern conservative with religion-based moral values. It is highly doubtful he will find a woman on television who comes anywhere near meeting his standards.

Why don't they ever let us black people on this show? I think it is very prejudicial. We makeup over 40 percent of the population but they still won't show us on the tv.
