Mark McGrath marries girlfriend after 18 yearsSugar Ray singer Mark McGrath and girlfriend Carin Kingsland have taken the next step in their long-term relationship and have tied the knot. A rep for McGrath tells CNN that the musician married Kingsland, 39, on Monday "in a small ceremony with family and friends." McGrath, 44, and his new wife told People magazine that the wedding arrived after "18 years of breakups, makeups, beautiful twins and an unwavering love that provided some pretty damn good song lyrics." The couple's twins, 2-year-old Lydon and Hartley, were on hand as the ring bearer and the flower girl, respectively. McGrath met Kingsland in 1994 at the Viper Room in Los Angeles, and the rocker later proposed there on New Year's Eve in 2009. It's the first marriage for both.

Because JR, some women aren't "waiting for a ring" They are living in a committed relationship happy to be with the person regardless of a ring.

Also, you can't really judge by this picture, she was obviously caught off guard. I've seen other pictures and she looks fine to me. My husband & I finally got married 8 years ago, after 18 years together also. Sometimes it really does take that long to get to a place where you're ready for it. And looks aren't the most important thing, people!! The attraction obviously began back when they first met, when they were both young & hot. If you really love someone, you will eventually get there, even after all the ups & downs. Best wishes to them both!! 🙂
All I can say is MY invisible fiancé is beautiful and incredible. She lives with me in my mom's basement. She doesn't even care if I play Xbox all day long. She is the best.

Some of the comments on here are so mean. The man has been with this woman for 18 years!!! He obviously finds something beautiful within her to be with her for so long. Standards of beauty are different for many people and while some of you find that she doesn't live up to your standard (no doubt you all must be stunning), he loves her just the same. @Gina said it best, they look happy together.
No way. You should see my invisible girlfriend. She is so pretty she won all the beauty padgents and is the best cook ever. She is awesome. And she uses perfume so shd smells nice like pretty flowers.
