In a spoof on "Late Night," Fallon did his best Romney impression at a news conference, saying that he wanted to discuss the remarks that had stirred controversy - something "to the effect of me not caring about 47 percent of the country because they're all basically freeloaders sucking off the teat of the rich." Punchline? Lindsay Lohan charged with leaving accident sceneLindsay Lohan was arrested early Wednesday morning in New York, accused of leaving the scene of an accident, police said. A spokesman for the New York Police Department told CNN the actress was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and taken to New York’s 10th Precinct police station, where she was processed and released on her own recognizance. CNN has reached out to Lohan's rep for comment. According to police, Lohan was entering the parking area of the Dream Hotel shortly after midnight in her 2010 Porsche Cayenne. Police said the hotel shares a driveway with a restaurant and that as Lohan was entering she allegedly hit a restaurant employee. Police allege she continued into the driveway and parked her car, leaving the scene of the accident. Lohan was charged with leaving the scene. Police said drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the accident. |
