K-Pop star PSY: My video's more popular than me!

When you hit it big with a viral video, there's the chance the clip can become more popular than the artist behind it, but Korean artist PSY is putting in overtime to make sure that doesn't happen to him.

The music sensation has been making the rounds from the MTV Video Music Awards to the "Today" show to "Saturday Night Live" to "Chelsea Lately," which is where we caught up with him on Tuesday night.

"I'm here to promote myself, you know ... [the] music video is more famous than I am," PSY told us. "I hate that, you know? I've got to be more famous than video. The video is much more popular. So when I say, 'I'm PSY,' people say, 'PSY?' And so I say, 'The YouTube video,' and people go, 'Ahhh!' So I'm here to promote myself and say, 'I'm the guy, I'm the guy and I'm the guy!'"

No doubt it's working, as it seems there's always a new opportunity, PSY continued.

"Everyday I wake up, 'PSY, we have something, PSY, we have something,'" he said, offering examples: "'What is it?' 'CNN reported you.' 'What is it?' 'You know, Britney uploaded your video on her Twitter.'"

Is it tiring? Yes, the "Gangnam Style" star admits, but "I cannot be tired in that kind of situation."

Spoken like a K-Pop phenom.
