Overheard: Kristen Stewart on fameKristen Stewart is famous enough to command a cover on Vogue U.K. - a first for the "Twilight Saga" star - but the 22-year-old still hasn't figured out how to handle the glare of the spotlight. Although Vogue doesn't make it clear when the interview was held, it's fair to say Stewart's fame has only intensified, thanks to a private matter going very, very public. And being in the public eye, the actress says, is not at all her strong point.
"I know that if you haven't thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself then it can seem like you lack ambition," Stewart said. "But dude, honestly? I can't. People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there, doing the thing that you want and making lots of money out of it. But, you know, I'm not that smooth." It's one of the reasons why she says she identifies with generations past, specifically the Beat Generation depicted in her upcoming film "On the Road." "That world back then, it just seems freer to me than anything I could ever touch and I'm fully nostalgic for it, even though I wasn't even alive then," she told Vogue. "It's the loyalty aspect of it all. I love being on the periphery with a group of people who have the same values that I do. People who don't get off on fame, who just like the process of making movies and thrive."

I have no love for this girl. I don't know whether she is a good actress or not. I have not watched any of the Twilight movies, or anything else that she might have been in. I do think that she's still young, and made a huge mistake with her little fling with the married producer. Think back, did you ever do anything in your past, when you were young, that you wish you could just take back. We ALL do stupid stuff when we are kids. She is under public scrutiny all the time, which just makes it worse. I can give her a break on being human. Seems like a lot of you can't do that, though. Again, I can't vouch for her acting ability (which after reading your posts doesn't sound very good), but I can cut her some slack. Life is full of learning experiences. Hopefully, she got a little bit of an education from her huge mistake.

So easy for everyone to make fun of her and critize her mistakes, since she is famous and I guess therefore, we are allowed to insult her in everything she does.
She's 22 years old. What did you do at that age? How many mistakes did you make? I wonder what would happen if your life was all of a sudden smeared all over the press and people were allowed to comment on the stupid choices you made or make even now.
I wouldnt want to be famous. Especially in this day and age.
I'm not a fan of hers specifically, but I get where she is coming from. Give the girl a break.

Leave her alone.....she was what....18 when she made Twilight and started a serious romance w/Pattison at 19. She didn't have much of life's experience on how to handle an older "married" man who came on to her. She bought into all the flattery and lived to regret it. Those who haven't experienced mistakes at that age, are either liars or have lived under a rock!! Give her a break....she made a mistake and now she's paying for it. It's her business not yours!!
