  • Malin Akerman is expecting! This will be the first child for the actress and her husband, musician Roberto Zincone, Akerman’s rep confirms to CNN.
  • New “American Idol” judge Nicki Minaj is loving reality TV right now. She’ll appear in a “trilogy of specials” on E! starting in November. [E!]
  • Apparently Ke$ha’s new album “Warrior,” due out in December, tackles some “weird topics” … like, “having sexy time with a ghost.” Dear Ke$ha, weird might have been an understatement. [RyanSeacrest.com]
  • Selena Gomez is going back to where it all started: the Disney channel, of course. Bieber’s lady will star in and executive produce a special “Wizards of Waverly Place” reunion episode to air in 2013. [EW]

Schwarzenegger: 'I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria'

For Arnold Schwarzenegger, promoting his new autobiography, “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story,” means finally opening up about his affair with his family’s housekeeper.

The tryst resulted in the birth of Schwarzenegger’s now teenage son and, eventually, the end of his 25-year marriage to Maria Shriver.

In an interview with “60 Minutes,” to air on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET/PT, journalist Lesley Stahl asks the former governor of California, “So you lied to [Shriver]?”

“You could say that,” Schwarzenegger responds.

‘Elementary’ premieres: What’s the verdict?

“Elementary,” a modern-day, United States-set "Sherlock Holmes," premiered Thursday on CBS, garnering mostly positive reviews and plenty of eyes.

The crime drama, which stars Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Joan Watson, respectively, drew about 13 million viewers, according to TV by the Numbers. And that's in spite of early criticism and comparisons to BBC's “Sherlock."

Joel McHale seals new ‘Soup’ deal

Joel McHale will keep cooking “The Soup” — at least for two more years.

The news that McHale will continue hosting E!’s rapid-fire reality-show clip-blender “The Soup,” as he has since 2004, comes just as the comic-actor-host signs deals with Sony Pictures Television and E!, in addition to launching his own production company, Free Period Productions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

On the heels of Louis C.K.’s Emmy wins, “Louie’s” third season came to an end last night with the funniest, saddest, most puzzling, yet, heartwarming moments of the season.

Louie looked lonely sitting on his couch, but he wasn’t alone. Lilly and Jane were there tearing open Christmas presents.
