Seth MacFarlane, Frank Ocean headed for 'SNL'
"Saturday Night Live" is starting off strong with its 38th (38th!) season this fall.
NBC announced Wednesday that the late night sketch comedy show will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane, and will have a debut performance from critic-and-fan darling Frank Ocean, on its season premiere September 15.
And it only gets better from there: "Looper" star Joseph Gordon-Levitt will stop by on September 22 along with Mumford and Sons as the musical guest. It'll be the band's first time performing on "SNL."
That'll be followed by Bond himself - a.k.a. Daniel Craig - on October 6, with Muse as the group on deck to perform.
If you weren't already excited for the fall TV season to start, this should do the trick.

love these 2
It's a LGBT night of laughs and music
the biggest surprise for me is that snl is somehow still on the air... guess when you're drunk you'll watch anything.
Someone bought some advertising space. Did SNL buy up one of Apple's slots or something?
bring me back!
If I was Bristol Palin, I'd drive over to the nearest meat processing plant and get in line with all the other cows.
You mad bro?
Um not really relevant but I endorse this message
Now that's a dumb post!
I will be watching and eating Pop Corn when I do.
HEY GUYS. IM YOUR NEW TROLL.
Ted was funny as he##, .. remember the part "Why the F@#$ would he say that?" .. when the kid and Gionvanni R. was talking to them in the park.. I rolled out of my chair on that one.
wherever u go, there u are.
Hey, it's Peter Brady...oh wait, no it's not.
SNL has gone down hill since the 80's and 90's. Back then, the actors actually took the time to learn their scripts. Nowadays, the "actors" make it obvious that they are reading the cue cards. I can't even watch it, it's so bad.
pop-do you know where my mouse ear collection is? i want to show to the other monsters.
I would watch but i have to get my seats sanded in the new outhouse i just built
Can I suck your toes, Jessica Alba?
the only reason this rapper is famous is because he is gay. now he is labled a hero because he came out. do you know why it takes courage to come out? because even gay people know its wrong and are ashamed. no talent hack.
Your name "Idiots all around" summed you up perfectly. Good choice!
why don't you just STFU you bigoted hate intolerant Neanderthal. Your moniker says it all....you're the biggest idiot of them all.
You're wrong, and should be ashamed. Idiot. And yes, I realize it's your opinion, and everyone is welcome to have theirs, but it's ignorance like that, that's brining our country down.
Career lagging? No problem. "HELLLOOOOO!!!! I'm out of the closet now!"
wheres my guest appearance? i made that f-in show!
got home at 130
i know thanks. catch a show if u can.
alive? thats good
Muse? Seth Mcfarlene? Super legit...
Looovee Seth!!! Can't wait
I, too, love Frank Ocean
Seth should also be the musical guest. His voice is stunningly beautiful.
when he says he is gonna bust one in ur azz he isnt talkin about a cap.
I've watched almost every SNL episode since the 70s. I will really miss Kristen Wiig but am ready to see some new episodes. Thanks again Lorne M!
I do think there's still real comedy talent out there. And SNL can still be great some nights. But the music groups that get on the show–pretty terrible.
Dang you Lorne Michaels
i love frank ocean
Frank ocean and seth! Fab! Haters go s..ck a big fat one!
I'll be watching if this whale doesn't kill me.
That's a huge score for SNL.
still full of talent
I'll have plenty of time to watch after November.
Not as much time as Barack and I will have after January 20 when we vacate our current residence!
@Lombardo, oceans extremely talented
I have to be honest, when I first heard there was a gay rapper, Frank Ocean wasn't what I had in mind for a good name. I think Big Wanye would have been far more suitable.
Frank Ocean is an R&B singer, not a rapper.
Either way his name should still be Big Wayne.
Wow–people really thin MacFarlane is funny? Sorry–just never thought Family Guy was anything more than contrived jokes.
Yeah, you have to be a bit of a thinker to appreciate, Seth. Sorry, Matty.
uh, John, I think it's the exact opposite. You have to be unable to think in order to like his dribble. Ted? Really????
MacFarlane, Ocean, Levitt, Craig, Muse: great line-up.
I want Mila Kunis to host. I love her!
Looking forward to it
Isn't that the gay rapper that isn't really any good, but because he's gay, everybody loves him for it and thinks he's good?
No. You just want it to be that way. He was very well liked before the gay thing hit. Only now are some fans jumping ship, just because of that.
He is a singer....but I honestly don't know if he is good or not....I tend to no longer listen to anything made after 1999. Music today is just plain garbage.
So am I.
You made me laugh
I've been dead for a while
I won't be watching
