'Breaking Dawn' director on Stewart, Pattinson scandalPromotional tours for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" should be interesting, considering that lead actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson - who play a married couple in this installment - are in the midst of personal drama. But the film's director, Bill Condon, is hoping that everyone will put aside their private turmoil and remember that these two are trying to focus on doing their jobs.
"The fact is, these are actors playing parts," Bill Condon told Entertainment Weekly in its latest issue. "Maybe it's not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that." Condon also directed Stewart and Pattinson in the previous film, "Breaking Dawn - Part 1," and he tells the magazine that the two deserve some respect when it comes to their off-camera lives. "Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the 'Twilight' movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon," Condon added. "Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it's time that some of that respect be returned to them." Summit Entertainment previously indicated to EW that the studio is "moving full steam ahead" with its promotion of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," and so is Pattinson, for that matter. The actor stars in David Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis," which opens in limited release this month, and plans to adhere to his red carpet schedule in addition to lining up interviews - Pattinson's scheduled to appear on "Good Morning America" August 15. His film with Stewart, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," opens November 16. |

the media needs to stop. this thing with kristen is way out of control. im at the point she cheated so what. life goes on. when there done slamming her they will move to someone else

Doesn't anyone think this whole thing is a publicity stunt. Public apologies..staged photo's of the alleged affair. Doesn't ring true.

Well, all of this is probably why some people say they don't date people they work with. Business first, monkey business 2nd. lol. And, btw, Twilight hasn't been good since the first one anyway. They have gotten progressively worse. And what in the world was up with Breaking Dawn Pt. 1? No wonder Kristen cheated. She was trying to keep in line with her character.

LOL, they're recieved enough attention and respect over the years. Kristen LOST the respect she's been given, and with good reason – cheating on her partner, with a married man, for a one night stand.
Get over it and hold her accountable for her actions. Being a famous movie star doesn't give her a ticket out of this. I always thought Robert could do much better than that below-average, miserable looking child anyways.

Well in the interview with Oprah, Rihanna is sobbing for Chris ..this people like to be smaked and beating how sad! she cries for him umbelievable she said he was because he was in trouble .. in the other side this .this woman is a homewrecker she cheats with a married man and is not right, and Rihanna who cares I hope she is back with this guy and he beast her again and again! they belong together.
