All about Natalie Portman's vegan wedding

Natalie Portman took a break from veganism while she was pregnant with her son Aleph, but on her wedding day the 31-year-old actress was back to her old habits.

People magazine reports that the wedding reception's menu was restricted to vegan dishes only, in line with what Portman herself eats, and at least one item reflected her new husband Benjamin Millepied's nationality.

Rather than wedding cake, attendees enjoyed French macarons.

Their wedding decor was eco-friendly, as the ceremony incorporated wildflowers that are native to the Big Sur region of California rather than having a more particular variety flown in.

People adds that Portman even included the wildflowers in her wedding day look, wearing a crown of white buds in her hair to go along with her tea-length, white Rodarte dress. When the festivities wrapped up around 2 a.m., guests were given packets of wildflower seeds as parting gifts.

At least she was intelligent enough to provide her unborn baby with the amino acids and nutriets it needed to grow properly. Hope she continues the proper feeding of said child until it's finished growing.

I know people who were vegan from their birthday and now are 20 and healthy. so don't say stuff like that.
you just need to search about veganism and raw foodism then you're mind is going to change about these things.

Her father, head of reproductive medicine at North Shore LIJ, turned a blind eye from one of his subordinate doctors who botched my sister's IVF procedure that almost killed her! I boycott all that is Natalie Portman!

Should the sins of the father really be visited on the child? I was under the impression that American culture encourages individual responsibility. If that's so, surely Natalie Portman should not be held responsible for the actions of her father. Your petty and spiteful comment apparently stems from a desire to punish someone – ANYONE – for the pain and anguish your sister suffered.

That's ridiculous...why blame her? Is she the doctor who did this? No. Her father is an adult and whatever happened, I'm sure she should not be held accountable...really, grow up.

Im so sorry about your sister! She went through hell, it seems. But Natalie Portman had nothing to do with that. It is hard I know, and sometimes we need someone to blame. I hope you and your sister heals from this.

    • Don't boil vegetables

Boiling vegetables not only ruins their flavor and texture, the nutrients are lost to the boiling water. I can't imagine anyone could eat and enjoy boiled sprouts. Bleh. (roasted or sauteed or stir fried, however? delicious)

Y U M. Some of those raw veggies are pretty delicious. Especially in a ranch or blue cheese dip. Good for them.
