Houseguest removed after 'Big Brother' violenceFor the third time in "Big Brother" history, a contestant has been ejected from the show after a violent outburst. Much was made of the fact that Willie Hantz was a houseguest this season, since he was the brother of Russell Hantz, one of the most infamous cast members of "Survivor." However, just over a week into this season, Willie started to rub a lot of people – especially his coach this season, Britney – the wrong way.
When it started to become clear to Willie that he wouldn't last much longer in the house, he started to lose it. He went on a rant, verbally attacking and cursing at female contestants. The producers didn't take long to act, sending Willie to the diary room, where he was immediately removed from the game. Two other contestants – season 2's Justin Sebik and season 4's Scott Weintraub – have been ejected from the game due to violence (Chima Simone was booted in the 11th season after destroying her microphone, but did not act violently towards another houseguest). It's been quite an interesting season, with the addition of "Big Brother" houseguests from the past acting as coaches, and it seems to have ramped up the drama a lot earlier than usual. Willie was quickly losing popularity with his fellow contestants, but it doesn't seem like anyone expected something like this to happen. You guys are insane if you think this show won't continue. Both it and Survivor have been and probably will continue to run for 10 years. There's about 50% who are saying the show sucks why is this even on blah blah blah. If you don't watch it, why comment?
Willie acted out, they should have removed him long before that incident happened. While I agree it wasn't a head butt, I think Jeff said it best in another season "This ain't WWF brother." It clearly isn't scripted or staged. It has a live feed 24/7, I don't see how they could have the opportunity to practice lines and events that happen. But honestly if you don't watch the show you have no real valued opinion here. Go else where and practice trolling.

Who cares about the nerd anyway. And how can anyone still be watching this childish show. It and Survivor is the same thing over and over and over. Goes to show how the mentality in America. Anything entertains them.
"Survivor is the same over and over..." With that argument, you could say the Olympics is the same over and over.

I thought Evil Dick was worse on the last season he played. He was not evicted. It must be for the ratings, not the violence. I think E. D. threw something at someone.

This wasn't real. It was staged. Look at the contestants' reaction at 0:08 – looks cued. And the alleged headbutt? Look at 0:17 – it was a shoulder push. No headbutting at all. All scripted I say.
How can it not be real? He was immediately sent to the . . . uh . . . Diary Room.

Good Grief, if you don't like the show... there's and on/off switch somewhere. Not wanting to watch "this crappy show", you all seem to know a LOT about it. Pick and choose, people, and don't crab if YOU didn't choose well. Personally, I picked some real losers and was glad to see BB . Their format is a little dicey for 30 some days, but....
The messed up part is, people like you think this garbage is actually worth watchiing! How sad have we become as a society that we'll waste hours (which eventually turn into days and years worth) of your life watching this crap and actually think it's entertainment. You'll be lying on your deathbed someday wishing you didn't waste so much of your life by watching this junk!
This was ridiculous. BB producers could've prevented this little altercation by stepping in since everyone was picking on Willie. The Houseguests were bullying him and he couldn't take it anymore. Old dude better be glad he didn't do more and Brittany is a wimp. She did not take up for her player at all. I hate this season already.

I also think that Willie was set up. It just seem that once he was down people shunned him and egged him on. The producers should have stepped in when that was happening to prevent it from escalating to the point it did. I'm not excusing Willie's behavior, but the others were mentally cruel to him.
Willie doesn't strike me as someone you can mentally abuse as he appears to stupid to process input. He might want to join the Future Meth Addicts of America Club, if he's not already a charter member. What a Tool.
This show is still going on?? Really!?!?! This was the prototype reality series and should have died a long time ago. And "coach" and "dairy room"!?!?! What the #%@$??
And yet girls date guys just like this every day and when they smack you around and you say "But he loves me" wa wa wa, girls you have to step up your game and find these loosers for who they are and leave them before you end up in the ER every week with a broken bone, face laserations or death.
The only redeeming feature is Julie Chen.
Well Wayne I have to disagree. I used to watch Julie Chen on the CBS Early Show and she couldn't really carry an interview. She's a likeable person, just not a journalist. I think since her husband is a CBS big wig he's giving her a show like this to keep her busy. I don't watch this show either because I don't think it's entertainment to watch people try to create hostile environments in order to win a stupid game.

I feel cheated, I was so looking forward to Willie being put on the block. And being chewed up and spit out by the other contestants..He is truly worst than his brother. I would also like to have seen him leaving Big Brother crying. like his brother....
I'm glad Willie is gone. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY should live under the same roof with someone who is violent. Willie proved he was a violent threat, and the producers did the right thing by removing him immediately. What a punk. I predict that Willie and/or his brother will wind up dead because sooner or later they will mess with the wrong person.
I think Britney is the worst coach ever, she could have defused the situation, but she made it worst, I have seen people who have done horrible things in the game and still made it to the end. they should have given him a break, i think they all contributed to his expulsion. shame on the house.
I agree with you completely Britnany is the one to blame for this she wouldn't let him talk to anyone, anytime he tried she went and pulled the people away and told them to stay away from him. This is the worst twist ever!!! Coaches? Palease!!!!!

I don't watch often at all. May have seen 5 shows in all the years it's been on. But Mariah is a perfect judge. She's got just the right blend of talent, charisma, and divatude. Unlike, JLo she can actually sing.

This house is always a pressure cooker, you would think Willy would have watched other seasons and realized he had to keep his temper in check. Although I do think he thought getting himself evicted would help his teammates, he did say in the HOH room watch im evicting myself or something. Obviously he should have stayed and sacrificed himself, so Shane and JoJo had a chance. What is the deal with Janelle she just switched sides on Brit and no one has mentioned it, she is talking strategy with Boogie now? Why did she not fairly choose one have not from each team, she targeted all Britts team, Shane twice thats just unfair. I guess she was scared of Willy but she vowed to keep her votes the same as Bitts, wow, Britt gets swindled again, she needs to pick better partners!
Willie got a bad rap right from the beginning, just because he's a Hantz. Boogie and Frank targeted him, making him seem a lot worse than he was. And Joe was very quick to tell everyone how Willie "mocked" the player, which was bs–I saw the conversation and I didn't think it was mocking at all, just telling what was said. And the whole house was very eager to target Willie. They were even worse than he was, either insulting him or shunning him. And Britney was one of the worst offenders–what a terrible coach! She basically threw him under the bus. No wonder he was on edge. I don't think Willie was right to head butt, but I think Joe was as much as fault as Willie, and Joe should have been evicted, too. It will be a lot more boring now that Willie's gone.

I totally agree... Willie was set up and think that Joe should of been sent out to. He started the whole thing and nothing happened to him at all. I don't think that the head butt was intintial I think he went to go put his head to Joes and then they hit together... I don't like this season at all with the coaches and don't know if I will be watching it any more this year and its sad since I have watched them all since season 1.... Brathead... How can you say how you would handle it if you were called every name in the book... have you ever been in that house or in a situation like that...had everyone turn on you and not have your back that said that they would hmmm I think NOT. I never liked Russell but I don't think tha Willie got a fair deal... they were trying to get him out from the start since he was Russell's brother and they have money from the other show that they do so they wanted him out that's why Brittany put him up as HOH.

The show missing a houseguest. Fred Willard is seems to be out of a job and would be a perfect fit. Bit of advise..don't shake hands with him.
