Sarah Paulson didn't sleep through her Emmy nomSarah Paulson was not one of those actresses who was caught restfully unaware of her Emmy nomination. "I wasn't expecting it to happen, but I wasn't sleeping peacefully either," said Paulson, who was nominated for outstanding supporting actress for her performance as Nicole Wallace in HBO's "Game Change." "I don't want to make it sound like I was cool as a cucumber. I was hopeful, but I definitely wasn't sure it was going to happen." "I sobbed," Strong recalled of saying good-bye to her character, Mary Alice. "It's hard to talk when you're crying, so I had to keep it together long enough to get through my final voice-over. Mary Alice has been such a magical part of my life, and it's such a unique role. I'm not a voice-over artist traditionally, so to have the opportunity to use one aspect of my instrument so specifically has been a challenge and a gift."
