While you were working ...

Today's news you might've missed:

"I wasn't expecting it to happen, but I wasn't sleeping peacefully either," said Paulson, who was nominated for outstanding supporting actress for her performance as Nicole Wallace in HBO's "Game Change." "I don't want to make it sound like I was cool as a cucumber. I was hopeful, but I definitely wasn't sure it was going to happen." FULL POST

Emmy nominee Brenda Strong: Kathryn Joosten will always have my vote

When Brenda Strong ended her run as the voice of "Desperate Housewives" this year, she had to concentrate on not crying through her final lines.

Mary Alice has been such a magical part of my life, and it's such a unique role. I'm not a voice-over artist traditionally, so to have the opportunity to use one aspect of my instrument so specifically has been a challenge and a gift."
