Kimye hits Paris Fashion WeekParisian fashion designer Stephane Rolland might owe Kim Kardashian and Kanye West a thank you card. The talked-about twosome brought the fairly unknown couturier extra publicity when they showed up late to his showcase during Paris Fashion Week.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kimye arrived dressed in all black - just the opposite of their white coordinating outfits at Sunday’s BET Awards. However, the couple was literally fashionably late, reports Fashionista.com, which may be one of the reasons social networking sites paid such close attention. Red Carpet Fashion tweeted about the pair’s tardiness, writing, “Stephane Rolland started nearly an hour late. Why? Because they were waiting for Kanye West & Kim Kardashian. They started without them.” Women’s Wear Daily chimed in later tweeting that they’d finally arrived - a full hour late.“Kanye West and Kim Kardashian almost missed Stephane Rolland's couture show, taking their seats shortly before the finale.” Kardashian, possibly making it up to Rolland, tweeted Tuesday, "Just left the Stephane Rolland couture show. His clothes are next level beautiful." |
