While you were working ...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • It's not the most passionate kiss we've ever seen, but it's definitely a lip lock nonetheless: Aaron Sorkin and Kristin Davis were caught smooching on the red carpet at the premiere of Sorkin's show "The Newsroom" Wednesday in L.A. [Us Weekly]
  • Nick and Vanessa Lachey have revealed that they're expecting a son this September - perhaps the first member of a baby boy band in the making? [VanessaLachey.com]
  • Best news yet today: "Daria's" making a return to MTV as part of a "retro mania" block of programming. For some reason, the network felt compelled to also air "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" during this time slot, which we don't understand at all. [THR]
  • Considering how persistent those breakup rumors were ahead of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis' confirmed split, we're not sure Depp's single life is radically different from his attached life, but we'll take "a look inside" courtesy of People magazine anyway. [People]
  • Everyone forgot to watch Bristol Palin's reality show, "Life's a Tripp," and so E! has come up with five nice ways to say, "It's pretty boring, and there were better things on TV Tuesday night." [E!]

Lauren London to join cast of 'The Game'?

Lauren London could be ready to get in “The Game."

According to TVLine, the “ATL” and "90210" actress has been added to the lineup for the spicy dramatic series, about professional football players and the women who love them, following the departure of two of the series' stars.

Though she won’t replace long-time star Tia Mowry, who jumped ship last month, London will reportedly play Kiera, “a former child star currently in a 'Cosby'-esque sitcom” for "The Game's" sixth season.

But there’s still no word on who might replace Pooch Hall’s character “Derwin,” as Hall exited the series shortly after Mowry did.

A brutal week in Vegas on 'SYTYCD'

I said it in a tweet last night, and I'll say it now: Las Vegas week is the best/worst part of the season.

As usual, for every dancer who made it into the final group before the top 20 was chosen, there were many who were cut. And when Broadway choreographer Tyce Diorio is involved, that usually means it's not a terribly pleasant experience.

How should Prince William spend his inheritance?

Prince William is celebrating his 30th birthday on Thursday with a reportedly “low-key” and “private” soiree … oh, and a $15 million inheritance.

Prince William: 30 years in photos

So what’s a prince to do with such a generous chunk of change? We’d suggest planning a lavish vow renewal, but it might be too soon. Here are some other options:
