Gaga's doing well after suffering concert injuryLady Gaga is on the mend after getting smacked in the head with a prop while performing in Auckland, New Zealand, on Sunday. The superstar singer was in the middle of a rendition of "Judas" when a backup performer accidentally hit the Grammy winner on the head with a set pole while attempting to move it.
Gaga could be seen in video posted online swaying slightly after the moment of impact and then rubbing her head just before exiting the stage. MTV reports that she returned a short time later to power through the rest of her 16-song set, even though she'd suffered an injury. At one point the singer told the audience, "I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show." The singer’s reported makeup artist,Tara Savelo, confirmed her injury via Twitter Sunday, saying, "Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I'm taking care of her. Can't believe she finished the show.” Reps for Gaga tell CNN that the singer is now "doing well." Gaga's is the latest in a long line of celebrity concert bloopers. Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler fell off the stage in 2009 during a show at the Sturgis Biker Rally. He suffered injuries to his head, neck and shoulder and was forced to call off the rest of the performance. Watch the video below to see how the fans reacted. Video of singer Beyonce’s tumble down a set of stairs during a concert quickly went viral back in 2007. Her fall inspired CNN’s Jeanne Moos to take a look at some other famous missteps. Watch Kelsey Grammer, Al Roker and others take a dive: Thankfully, all of the performers recovered from their mid-performance mishaps. |

Warren Buffet and the Buffet plan suck!!
Not as much as you.
GAGA must be more careful!
Wow?. What's the story with all of these celebrities falling down, running into stuff, drug overdosing, rehab, etc. I missed Jeannie Moos's story on this, who is a great and humorous reporter, and, by the way, they refused to show the video of Beyounce's coordinated efforts. Is that legal? Was she on her private property? Sue'm, Jeannie.
Too many huge Drug Busts going down. They'er hitting the suburbs and out skirts, now, and catching more drug smugglers. The performers and celebs can't get to their favorite "Performance Enhancer". Pretty soon, they'll be like you and me, shopping at "Walmart", going to "Jiffylube," paying taxes, carrying luggage without wheels, probably, eating at "Bojangles," and worst of all, driving a car and determining which side of the road to stay on.
Not a fan of hers however it's awesome she finished the show for the fans.

How to NOT get a call back as a back up dude!
Maybe now she will stick to singing instead of sticking to the stick ( pole) HA!HA. Real artist sing, not try to shock , ah, ooo, it's the singing. That's all folks.
Get rid of the stupid props and costumes – problem solved.
The Human race is becoming soft. BUT, seeing that our life expectency way back in History was around 28 years, we have improved, somewhat. OR, is that an improvement?
Actually, you should do some research on life expectancy in the middle ages and earlier. It was about the same as now. This whole thing about people only living to be about 28 is a statistical anomaly. The reason the AVERAGE life expectancy was so young, was because many people died in childbirth (both the mother and the baby) and many infants didn't survive early childhood. If you made it to early teen years, the chances of living into your 70's was pretty good. The way the math works is in the following example. Three people are born. One lives to be 75, two die a few days after being born. The average of the three is about 25. Get it?
Dance for the Devil get tripped by the Devil.
She is a truly gifted person and wonderful human being. I hope she heals quickly.
Though I wouldn't want to see anyone get hurt, there is nothing gifted about her. She has a so-so voice, that is all.
You can't bring down Gaga. No one can. Mwahahahaha!
well, she is stil alive. try harder next time, back up dude.
wow, now she's been poled every which way imaginable. Congrats Lady! I really enjoyed watching that and feel nothing short of burning disappointment she wasn't hit with greater strength.

Did it fix her face? Haha Romney 2012!!!
I am not a doctor, but I play one on the Internet.
Whenever your head is hit by a blunt object and you feel paint or fainted, it's best to get medical examination immediately. Better be safe than sorry. You can die from delayed treatment to head injury.
Bwahahahahahhahahaha!!!!
I saw that clip of her this am, she got a concussion from that? I would believe a headache. (Nothing a couple tylenols wouldn't take care of)
This woman is revolting on every level.
You said it. Not me.
Meanwhile, in the rest of the world more important things are happening

Clearly your curiosity led you here to the Marquee Blog. Go back to the top of this screen and go click on the U.S. or World section if you want to look for what I'm assuming you consider "real" news. Only morons come to an entertainment blog that writes this kinda stuff and asks why this is news. It's a blog, get used to it.
Maybe it knocked some sense into her.
I don't like her.
