The Situation: I'm not the same person I was beforeA newly sober Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino says he doesn’t worry about any of the party-filled temptations that will come with returning to the “Jersey Shore” when he heads back for a sixth season. The reality show star sought treatment for a prescription drug problem in the spring, and he's told MTV that he's mentally in a different place now that he’s kicked his prescription pill habit, and that the old vices won’t have a hold over him. "Mike today? I wake every day these days with a smile," The Situation said. "Happy to be alive. Happy to have the family that I have. Happy to have the fans that I have, the friends. Happy to be involved in the show ... almost like a smell-the-roses moment. ... I know where I am and I know where I'm gonna be and that's all that counts."
He's also not holding on to any grudges against his cast mates. "During the last 80 days I've received an e-mail from Vinny, texts from Pauly, I think a text from Ronnie, [and] from Jenni," he said of the support he’s gotten from the "Jersey" crew. "At the end of the day, all the kids care for each other. I'm sure some of them didn't know how to handle it,” he added of his life's rough recent turn. Besides, he knows there were times he was hard to live with. "At that time I didn't mind," he said about the darker side of him that emerged over the course of the show’s five seasons. "I figured somebody's gotta be the villain. [But] I'm definitely not that person today for sure. I don't have any animosity towards anybody." But now that The Situation has apparently turned a page, will a pregnant Snooki cause new problems for MTV? According to the New York Daily News, execs for the channel are concerned that her impending motherhood will make her a lot less fun to watch. The paper cites an anonymous source who claims that “Jersey Shore” producers are not pleased that Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, isn't planning on living with her castmates once the sixth season starts shooting this summer. They’re also reportedly at odds with accommodating the soon-to-be mom's lifestyle financially - or taking a big chance with the show’s ratings if they decide to move forward without her. Still, it’s all just speculation: MTV hasn't commented on the rumors, and neither have reps for Polizzi. |

@Michael Calaizzo – Bozo you are...gay you must be...do not give into the Dark Side...
Yoda you are no match for me. I will get re-elected and turn this country into a socialist welfare state, where everyone has a nice cushy government job, kinda like Greece. When we eliminate capitalism and make everything "fair" then we we all have a peaceful mediocre existence. (except us politicians of course)
Can we survive until Romney takes over from BOZO?
He would be far superior than the NO DO Low Energy President with no birth certificate.

If that happened, who would entertain all the dumb sheep?
Who cares about MTV anymore? It hasn't been Music TeleVision for years ... now it's Moron TeleVision. Sadly.
It was an excuse for them to make MTV2... which started off as a mostly music channel and then became the scraps of MTV along with some other random shows that had NOTHING to do with music. Then MTV Hits, which actually does play music... and then MTV Jams. Oh, let's not forget MTVU... lol what will they think of next?
No one is after fame and fortune, but he still has no class.
"I'm not the same person as I was before.....I Milty of the Mounties."
