No Doubt to release new album this fallIt's been just over a decade since No Doubt released a new album, but the wait will be over this fall. As they revealed on their website, the band is set to release their sixth offering on September 25. ""We are incredibly excited to share the new music with you," they posted on their site. "Ear candy coming your way!" Fans have been waiting 11 years for such an announcement, and the band members, including Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont, thanked their listeners for sticking by them over the years.
"Thank you all so much for your support over the last 25 years," the group wrote. "We're really proud of our new album and we hope you love it as much as we do." MTV reports that the project has actually been in the works for the past four years, but they had a slow start as Stefani was then pregnant with her second child. Now that her second son, Zuma, is 4, and she’s had time to pound out solo projects and focus on her fashion line, it’s all systems go for a reunion. Last month, the band announced via Twitter that the long-awaited album - which has not yet been named - “was mixed and ready to go." Fans can even expect a video to pop up soon: according to their site, the group is ready to "shoot the video and start rehearsing to perform the new songs live for all of you." No word yet on a first single, but perhaps it'll be “Settle Down,” which a writer for Rolling Stone has called a "party-ready reggae blast." Another track, "One More Summer," might also provide a hint at this forthcoming album's sound, as Rolling Stone said it updated "the band's ska-pop sound with pounding dance beats, arena-size guitars and a beyond-catchy chorus." |

So exciting! I would love to see Karmin tour with No Doubt after hearing their album Hello! It would be too perfect
its about time. their a great band.
she’s had time to pound out solo kids
Gwen.. -sigh- I remember what a let down I felt as a No Doubt fan when she left to do her pop solo crap with rap undertones because that was what was popular and making money at the time. Now rock music starts to come back and 'lo and behold she is back with No Doubt.
I loved her voice in No Doubt, but the way she seems to follow the money and sell-out just put me majorly off. Tragic Kingdom will always be one of my favorite albums, but I DOUBT that No Doubt and Gwen Stefani can win me back.
Cabt wait for more rich people to get richer making pointless crap. Yay.
No doubt I spelled 'can't' wrong lol
Love, love, love, no doubt...and gwen stefani looked good then and now
Ignorance is not bliss humanity, no matter what the matrix told you.
Oh, and Susan, the next time you have to appear in front of millions of people, try not to pile the makeup on. Seriously? Are stars not people? Condemn them if they are'nt pretty enough or belittle them if we're jealous? If you can't talk that trash to her face you shouldn't be saying it here with all due respect.
I can't wait!! Gwen has always rocked it, does NOT lip synch her songs (if you think she does you've never seen her live with No Doubt) and since when did she dance like Madonna when she's with her band? That woman works out more than any celebrity i've heard of and you can't exactly vogue when you're listening to a mix of ska, reggae and pop. And since when is ska dead? Last I heard, music from every era has made a comeback at some point, just like clothes. If we can bring bellbottoms and distressed jeans back into fashion, I think the world is ready for some more No Doubt. Bring It!!
Didn't anyone tell them ska is dead?
Either they have a lot of new great material (doubt it) or they are running out of money you decide

That's cool news, best of luck to them 🙂
First Garbage returns & now No Doubt.... Life is Good Baby!! 🙂
Wow. What happened to her?
Gwen was hot in 96, 2012 not so much.
Better they do it now as I think the group has been losing it's relevance. They've started to be a forgotten group. Gwen has done her thing but what of the others. Sure hope it's a great album..
Woo Hoo!!! Can't wait 🙂
There in no doubt-I will not be buying this CD.
I am so ready for anew album! I love Do Doubt....and 10 years is a long time to wait but i am sure it will be worth it!!
