Rihanna misses 'SNL' rehearsal, tweets Brown a birthday greetingRihanna may have been too under the weather for a rehearsal, but she did make sure to send her ex some birthday love. The singer was the musical guest on the latest "Saturday Night Live," and her rep confirmed to CNN that she didn't appear for a rehearsal because she was "was sick, so she needed to save her voice for the live show." But Idolator reports that she made sure to tweet Chris Brown a Cinco de Mayo birthday greeting before she took to the "SNL" stage.
"Happy birthday @chrisbrown," the tweet said. Such communication is sure to whip up further speculation about what is going on with the pair, who are forever linked after Brown pleaded guilty in June 2009 to assaulting his then-girlfriend on the eve of the 51st Grammy Awards. The former couple recently collaborated on Rihanna's single "Birthday Cake," a snippet of which she performed solo on "SNL."

Jomm, this is not what "most average people" would do. Most people would leave the person that beat the crap out of them alone, stay as far away from them as possible, that's what an average person would do. These two are far from average. As outlandish as I'm about to sound here... a friend of mine believes Rihanna staged everything that has happened. You might call me crazy and ask how someone can stage something so horrible, but honestly... her fame went up quite a bit after that incident. Look at all the albums she's produced since then... 3 or so? You hear stuff about her all the time now whereas she was almost a nobody before then with a couple of mediocre "hits" if you would call them that.
I don't think it's crazy to think this is all staged, but it is still pretty far fetched in my opinion. I believe that he hit her, they broke up, it was all real, yadda yadda. But I think she only left him because of media pressures. She still loved him deep down. I believe that now she forgives him and wants him in her life again, (that's her choice to make, not ours). Also remember that this was an isolated incident, he has no other history of being violent towards women. She can't just come out to the media and say flat out she's getting back with him, so she's easing her way into it, but doing mysterious things such as wishing him happy bday on his twitter. (You'd think that she would call him directly or send a private message...) It's making us talk but no one really "knows" for sure, ya know.
