Sofia Vergara's diet: Not what you'd think...We're normally irritated when celebrities swear they maintain their red carpet-ready figures by eating pizza topped with chocolate chips and Doritos, but as it's impossible to be irritated with Sofia Vergara, we're letting her slide on her so-called "diet (or lack thereof)." If you missed the memo, the 39-year-old "Modern Family" actress is actually a mom in real life, too, and her son Manolo is spilling his mom's secrets on what she eats to maintain that (infamously curvacious) shape. On his NuevOn YouTube show, "Mi Vida Con Toty," Manolo takes us behind-the-scenes of life with his famous mom, who, apparently, "eats like a crazy lady."
"My mother has always been very thin, and a lot of people ask me about her gym regimen - spinning, Pilates, yoga," Manolo says in the episode. "Whenever somebody asks me about her workout routine, I laugh in their faces." Cut to scene after scene of Vergara eating one yummy-looking treat after another, including what looks like plenty of cake. I am astonished at most of the comments here. I watch Modern Family on occasion and love her character. She is funny and talented. Her accent is part of the charm. kit you find her voice annoying watch something else! Everyone has different tastes; we are individuals not clones! As far as her eating or lack of it...aren't we all the wise ones who can in ignorance make assumptions about someone we do not know? Some people have a metabolism that lets them eat whatever they want and they just don't gain weight...I am not one of them but if she is more power to her! As to if she doesn't watch it when she ages a bit more look out...so what? Who says outer beauty (which is all in the eye of the beholder) really matters in the long run. To all you "haters " out there....wonder what people would post about you????

I have a theory that some people have the genes to eat a lot without gaining an ounce and others don't. I've worked for 25 years with woman who every day eats humongous, sugary, gourmets desserts after lunch. Still skinny as a rail. Yes, I'm jealous.

We all have the potential to do exactly what Sophia's son touts. What he may not see (or maybe he does) is the graceful finger down the throat when the audience is gone. She's 39 now and has good metabolism, and she is one of the lucky ones. BUT, age will catch up with her, and when that happens, everything in your body slows down, and if you don't change your eating habits, you will gain weight, and a lot of it. If she has self-discipline–like Jane Fonda–she will always look gorgeous. But if she doesn't watch it, she will turn into a rolly polly older lady. It's a fact.
Every time that woman is on tv talking I can not understand what is she saying, her accent is so heavy and annoying , I just can not understand why she is on tv, she is in the full figure side and in few years she will be as fat as many people here.
