Unauthorized Simon Cowell tell-all may get sequel

A juicy unauthorized biography about “X Factor” head honcho Simon Cowell has hit the streets – and, according to its author, it packs more fact than fiction.

Tom Bower, the writer behind the allegedly true-life tale “Sweet Revenge,” told the U.K.'s ITV1 on Monday that he actually had the former “American Idol” host’s cooperation in writing the book up to a certain point, according to the Telegraph.

"I flew with him a lot to America on his private jet, I was on his yacht, visited him often in his house in LA," Bower said. "I got to know him very well and we got on very well. In the end I reported what I found."

The author added that Cowell "didn't hand [all this information] to me. He made me go and do what journalists do, which is dig. Then I confronted him with some things – and other things I wouldn't tell him about."

The unauthorized tell-all, which was published last week, reportedly weaves in hundreds of hours worth of conversations between Bower and Cowell, some of which Bower says the media mogul is now embarrassed by.

So just what’s in the book?

According to the Telegraph, details about the Brit’s alleged affair with Dannii Minogue, as well as cringe-worthy comments Bower says Cowell made about "X Factor" judges and contestants. Not to mention it claims that the 52-year-old is obsessed with Botox and other tools to keep him looking fresh.

So far, Cowell has not rejected any of the book’s claims, and Bower insists the two "remain friends."

Still we wonder how long the relationship will last - especially now that Bower says he is planning a part two.

"Oh yes, there will be a sequel," Bower confirmed. "He'll be with us for a long time I think."

  1. Slap Yo Mama

His mom would buy a copy, maybe his therapist... that's 2 copies. No danger of being on the bestseller list.
