While you were working...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • Katy Perry was caught snuggling at Coachella over the weekend with Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. But until we see more consistent heavy petting/kissing and/or publicist-leaked-information on their relationship, we can't call it - "friends" "hang out" like that all the time. Just ask Kanye and Kim Kardashian. [MTV]
  • The young woman who claimed to have had Justin Bieber's baby, Mariah Yeater, has been pretty MIA lately... so Biebs decided it was the perfect time to essentially let her know that she'll never get in his pants. On Twitter, of course. [Justin Bieber's Twitter]
  • If you've been wondering why you haven't seen Ashley Fink around lately on "Glee," it's because she's more than likely not coming back to the show. Said Fink, "It is what it is." We knew we liked her! [The Insider]
  • Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds seem to have moved on from real estate shopping in the Big Apple to checking out the country surrounding it: The pair have reportedly made a home for themselves in a $2 million "beautiful country" house in Bedford, New York. [People]
  • Rumor has it that Jennifer Aniston, who does not care about her ex-husband Brad Pitt's recent engagement to Angelina Jolie, is thinking of a marriage of her own and hunting for the perfect wedding location in Crete. Please find grains of salt and apply liberally. [TMZ]
  • While some of you were ready to see Tupac perform from beyond the grave, it looks like you'll have to wait, possibly indefinitely. Dr. Dre said during his Coachella set Sunday that Hologram Pac is "strictly for Coachella... I wanna get rid of all the rumors out there. This was not done for a tour....If a tour happens, we'll see, we'll see."

'Dark Knight Rises' trailer to screen before 'Avengers'

Warner Bros., home to DC Comics, has announced that it's attaching the third and final trailer for its long-awaited movie “The Dark Knight Rises” to Marvel’s “The Avengers,” which hits theaters on May 4, according to NolanFans.com.

This isn't the first time the two comics mainstays joined forces. DC and Marvel teamed up four years ago, when Warner Bros. promoted the final trailer for 2008's "The Dark Knight" during a screening of Marvel's "Iron Man," which came out a few months before.

"Showbiz Tonight" iReport: If you could be any one of the Avengers, who would you be and why?

So far the decision is looking like a total win for everyone involved: "The Avengers" is reportedly tracking to make at least $150 million during its opening weekend, and Warner Bros. doesn't want to miss out on that audience.

"We see this placement as a good strategic decision," one exec told Deadline. "We always want our trailers to be seen with films that people want to see - and a lot of people will be going to see 'The Avengers!'"

Wanee festival pays tribute to Levon Helm

Over the weekend, artists paid tribute to The Band’s Levon Helm at the 8th annual Wanee Music Festival at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was 71 when he died on Thursday. Hours later, Hot Tuna – featuring fellow Rock Hall members Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen – performed “I Am the Light of This World” and “99 Year Blues” in honor of Helm, kicking off a number of notable performances in his memory.

The next day, under a bright noonday sun, Bruce Hornsby sang a moving rendition of “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” which was made famous by Helm and The Band in 1969. Hornsby followed this up with his original classic “The Way It Is.”

(Wax) Lady Gaga goes to Washington

Lady Gaga's waxen doppelganger has taken a road trip to Washington D.C., and was unveiled at the local Madame Tussauds wax museum on Monday.

The Mother Monster actually has eight wax figures, which are located around the globe. The wax statue that is now in D.C.'s Presidents Gallery by Madame Tussauds is on loan from the Las Vegas location, and is dressed in a one-shoulder black catsuit and platform heels with its blonde hair fashioned into the shape of a bow.

To commemorate the statue's limited time at the museum, fans were encouraged to dress like Gaga with the opportunity for five little monsters to win an iPod shuffle and an iTunes gift card.

The Washington D.C. Madame Tussauds is already home to the wax figures of late pop icon Michael Jackson; Britney Spears; Justin Timberlake; Jennifer Lopez; Rihanna; and now-engaged couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, along with the 44 U.S. Presidents.

Lady Gaga's Vegas-based statue will be at the D.C. museum until June 30.
