Miley Cyrus doing fine after ER tripMiley Cyrus may want to stay out of the kitchen for awhile. On Monday, the actress cut her finger badly enough while cooking to require a trip to the emergency room. Gossip site Starfeine ran a picture of Cyrus’ bandaged boo-boo as she left a Los Angeles hospital with her grandmother in tow. The singer’s rep confirmed the injury, saying "[She] had to get a few stitches. She's doing fine."
Cyrus herself later tweeted about the mishap, letting her followers know she was OK and that she was irritated by all the paparazzi. "@MileyCyrusBz as you can tell by the horrible faces I'm making I obviously didn't know they were there," the 19-year-old tweeted about the unwanted cameras. "Pretty messed up following me to ER. I'm all stitched up & have on a splint so I'm good. As you can tell by my expression, didn't feel so good. Curse u blender!" Maybe the singer’s boyfriend Liam Hemsworth should do all the chef work for now.

I must not be looking at the same picture as you guys. To me she look skinny. She is not overweight at all! I do not know the girl personally, so I cannot say if I like her. It figures that the people of our society are quick to judge these famous people. Keep in mind that they are HUMAN. They have feelings and self-esteem problems like anyone else, and you accomplish nothing by saying these hurtful things. It just makes you seem uneducated and downright stupid. Be more accepting of others. PLUS! This was an article about her emergency room trip. Perhaps your comments should be relevant to that! Idiots!
She used to be kind of chubby from the pot smoking but she has obviously been working out and is if anythinga little on the skinny side. Ben Franklin invented the paper bag for just this occasion.

HIPAA laws only apply to health care providers, insurance companies, etc. Reporting on photos from outside the hospital, tweets from the patient herself and official statements are not violations.
Not necessarily true. I have to sign HIPAA Compliancy forms every year and I have no information other than who is covered by the company group insurance and who has opted out because they are on a spouses plan or chose to take a stipend and purchase insurance on their own. I don't even have access to which family members they have on the policy or the balance on their account. I certainly have ZERO access to medical records or other information. Yet, I'm required to sign those silly forms every year.

I don't know where you get that she's fat. You may not like her, but she is far from "fat," and is a healthy weight for her height and age. I am not a fan of hers, but I am a fan of health and young women having a proper self-image. Hater, I am sure you and your family are couscous porkers, and that makes you so upset.
Oh, please! Miley is a lovely young woman who lives and works in the U.S. She is almost chastely dressed by her industry's standards. She is absolutely NOT fat by any culture's measure – if anything she tends toward being underweight. As to whether her clothing is blasphemous: If she were a conservative Muslim woman, her dress would be considered too revealing, but blasphemy? She is NOT a conservative Muslim woman, though. Furthermore, you have a choice whether to look at these photos or not. If they offend you, do not open articles with pictures of western women. Problem solved.

This young woman is hardly fat. Quit trying to impose your own insecurities on her. She is young, probably just learning cutting and slicing techniques in the kitchen, and there would be no story, if there weren't people with cameras around bothering her. I am not her fan, particularly, but for heaven's sake, don't you haters have anything more important in your lives? Shallow, shallow, shallow...
I think she knew the paparrazi were there, she's just embarrassed by how terrible she looks in the photos. She's got more chins than a chinese phone book in those photos!
So do you, when you are tense, and your shoulders ride up around your ears, or you are cold, which she may have been, as lightly dressed as she was. You know, when she does something really stupid, like smoking whatever, she deserves our irritation with her. But, as a young cook, we all get cuts, etc. in the kitchen occasionally. Give the kid a break, this time. She is not fat, and she is not anything more than a young girl learning to cook, in this instance.
