Nate Dogg to show up at Coachella...as a hologram?

Although he passed away last spring, Nate Dogg might nonetheless make an appearance at Coachella this weekend.

TMZ reports that the rapper, who died at the age of 41, will "perform" at the music fest alongside headliners Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as a hologram.

Dre and Snoop, who are scheduled to close out Coachella for the next two Sundays, will reportedly be accompanied on stage by Kurupt, Warren G and Daz Dillinger, and they didn't want to leave Nate Dogg out.

The hologram technology will reportedly project the deceased rapper's image onto the stage, making it seem as though he's performing along with everyone else. TMZ cites anonymous sources who say Nate Dogg's hologram will be on hand for several songs.

But before Dre and Snoop take the stage, the Black Keys will perform today with Radiohead headlining tomorrow's lineup.

Remember, Coachella is pulling double duty this year, with its first festival playing this weekend and an identical, second set of shows launching the weekend of April 20.

    On the very off chance that's actually Sean Combs I have this to say: "Eat a dick. You destroyed hip hop. It's dead. I hope it felt good p¡ssing on its corpse. Thats all that's left. And all I can hope is that eventually the people running the industry get dethroned and real music can flourish again."

    Now that that's out of my system I find it ridiculously tasteless that this is being done. Anything to make a buck.

      AMEN. Seriously, Sean Combs definitely made hip hop all flashy with no substance. Guy sold his soul and so did many artists after him... I can't believe we have all that crap out in the mainstream now... people talking about getting money or girls and drugs...

      ...Well Jazzy that's the "white"American way,everyone else makes a buck that way in the US.Why should rappers be expected to be true to their music,integrity doesn't pay for Ferrari or Hermes.Why does it bother you anyway?you hate rap you just can't stand the fact that a lot of less talented blacks are making more money than ever off of it just like less talented whites in pop,country,rock,alternative and other classifications of music are.

      @F.M.,
      Nope. Crap music is crap. No matter what race made it, or the genre. No talent bums should be struggling to make it while genuine talent should rise. Most of modern rap is simplistic trash that can and will make you dumber.

      I find it completely disrespectful that you would use B.I.G.'s name like that.
