'Community' and Britta's Blade problem

You almost needed a Venn diagram to follow the various relationships happening on Thursday night's "Community."

For example, Annie still has a thing for Jeff. We saw that when she got defensive over the fact that he changed his shirt in front of her by the lockers.

Jeff, meanwhile, still has a thing for Britta. When Britta announced that she used to date someone who works at a carnival taking place in Greendale (a guy who is actually named Blade, which led to many a reference to a "kickboxing vampire movie"), Jeff went there to figure out what the guy's deal was.

Britta is only attracted to "bad boys," so after Annie redirected Britta's many texts to Blade to another phone, the only time any of this little scheme succeeded was when Troy texted something nice to Britta.

When Britta pronounced Blade a "loser" because of the text, Troy got upset. There's clearly still an attraction there as well. Annie defended Troy's text, so there may be something there too, going back to the first season.

Meanwhile, back at the carnival, we had what was probably the funniest part of the whole episode: the new bromance between Pierce and Chang... a bromance which fizzled over the course of one evening. Now Pierce needed Annie to take his phone so he wouldn't try to contact Chang.

In the middle of all this, we had Dean Pelton clumsily doing Vice Dean Laybourne's dirty work to recruit Troy for the Air Conditioning Repair school. Abed had the best line of the episode, when Pelton showed up at his, Troy and Annie's apartment: "I need help reacting to something."

This week's episode was more plot-heavy than we've seen, but it was the weakest so far since the show's return last month. Even so, there seem to be a lot of big developments headed our way this season.

Once again, we also saw Jeff growing as a person, and I like what's being done with his character especially.

I loved the episode! I think Britta/Troy should be elaborated on. I think they'd make a good couple.

I loved it. People complain that there is no character develop in Community, and when we get an episode where there is, or highlights certain interactions. We get a review that says it was the worst of the season. But to each his own. You can't satisfy everyone.

I Loved this episode, not only was it funny, again it highlights just how close and how troubled the group is.
Annie with her attraction to Jeff, Jeff wasn't attracted to Britta but the aspect that he had no women to go crazy over him like Britta was doing for Blade. There was no real connection between Britta and Jeff. Troy and Abed's opening the show with the "Best friends Best friends baking a Cake" handshake just made you feel warm inside, and Jeff with the Next line "I'd never thought I'd miss it" It summed up how every one felt about that whole Troy & Abed situation. Shirley and Jeff with their continued closeness since the Foosball episode, with Jeff actually saying that "Shirley knows him the best." And that Seemed to be true, because you knew exactly everything he was up to the whole time. Only when Jeff started getting crazy was when she had to bale. Pierce feeling left out of the group as always since everyone has paired up. I love how Shirley and Annie are always in sync with their "Owwwww". Troy like in the birthday episode at the end with Annie, showing that he can be more adult then the rest of the group, i thought this was amazing that he had so much insight in what was going on and how women, and Britta work, yet Annie was completely clueless. The Dean failed his assignment horribly, the running job of what he was there, and why was he in his pajamas, made me LOL. Pierce and Chang short bromance was interesting, it highlight just how unstable of them are. Abed drawing Annie, Jeff, Troy, Britta back to Blade.

It had a lot of things going on. my question was where was shirley at the end, she went looking for Pierce but never found him.
