McConaughey, Harrelson to star in new detective series?

It looks like Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are on the case.

The actors (and real-life buds) might co-star in "True Detective," an eight-part cable series about a pair of Louisiana detectives, according to Deadline.

The series will follow cops Rust Cohle (McConaughey) and Martin Hart (Harrelson), who cross paths while hunting a serial killer.

The forthcoming series will reportedly be directed by "Jane Eyre’s" Cary Fukunaga, however, it has yet to find a network.

McConaughey and Harrelson previously worked together on 1999's "Edtv" and 2008's "Surfer, Dude."

“Honestly, we’ve known Kanye forever,” she said. “He’s been a great family friend. I love Kanye. I don’t know what happens with Kim. ... You’ve got to get her on the show and ask [her if they’re together].”
