Is the 'Hunger Games' sequel without a director?

Is there drama afoot in the “Hunger Games” camp?

Sure sounds like it.

Director Gary Ross told CNN in March that he was on board to helm the "Hunger Games" sequel, "Catching Fire," but new reports suggest that he might be off the project altogether.

The Playlist suggests that Ross didn't want to spend the next several months working on the next chapters of heroine Katniss Everdeen's tale, although, as the Hollywood Reporter asserts, the money he was reportedly offered didn't help.

THR cites an unnamed source who claims that Ross wants a serious raise before he agrees to do a second installment.

Time is said to be another factor, as the director reportedly has yet to revise the “Catching Fire” script and the studio has already announced the film will come out in November of next year.

Studio Lionsgate tells CNN that they can't "confirm, deny, or otherwise comment on anything with regards to Gary Ross."

The writer/director is the only major hold-out for the franchise: stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence will all be coming back.

Speaking of Lawrence, there had been some questions over a possible filming conflict, which has now been resolved.

It's been said that Fox will begin shooting the sequel to "X-Men: First Class" in January, and Lionsgate tells CNN that they don't expect it to be a problem for star Jennifer Lawrence and her shooting schedule for "Catching Fire."

Honestly, good. Let him go sit down someplace.
The next movie should have someone with a bigger imagination than this dude. His style is too subdued to do justice to all the incredible imagery that Catching Fire has.

His performance as President of the USA is prwoseairthy. He has inspired the World Leaders to create atmosphere for long wanted Peace. But recently his demand for billions of Dollars for finishing war in Afghanistan and Iraq continue to disturb the Asians @ Mid eastern Countries.Since he has been awarded the most prestigious Noble Peace Prize He should work more on dialogues and not much on confontation. The entire world is watching his activities eagerly.People expect from him global peace .His domestic programmes have been so far brought hope and for the people of his Country. It is hoped that he will remain as active as he was in his first year in office. He will work for downtrodden people of the world wherever they are from.Let him be active as ever.
