Neil Patrick Harris returns as Tony Awards hostHis third time as Tonys host is sure to be charming, because let's be honest - is there ever a time when Neil Patrick Harris isn't? The "How I Met Your Mother" actor has signed on to host the Tony Awards once again, and will lead fans through the 66th ceremony on Sunday, June 10. Harris previously served as host for the 2009 and 2011 Tonys, and, as he did last year, he'll also produce the 2012 awards show.
He'll be accompanied by executive producers Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss, who won an Emmy along with host Harris for 2009's 63rd Tony Awards. Harris said in a statement that he's "thrilled to be a part of this year's Tony Awards...Not only will I be shining a spotlight on the best that Broadway has to offer, but hopefully I'll score some free house seats to a show or 5." The 66th Tony Awards will air live from New York City's Beacon Theatre on CBS Sunday, June 10 at 8 p.m. ET.

You can set aside some money to open a store in ebay to see your purchased products.Frankly, hosting your own pages doesn't mean that you will earn money. You need to know how to attract traffic to your site. After that, you need to know how to get those people to buy from your site. Want the real reason for NPH? MONEY MONEY MONEY!!! THe networks want the audience to watch the show so why not have the host as someone the people love already? HIMYM is one of the highest rated shows around – this makes perfect sense. They'll get ratings and money from the advertisers who are now gonna jump on the bandwagon.
And yes, it does help that NPH is really good at this too!

Thank goodness Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting the Tony Awards again, because he is the perfect MC for the show. Most people don't live anywhere near NYC so they have not seen any of the original plays nominated for an award. It takes a NPH to make the show watchable and bring in the ratings.
I agree with Tipsana that Neil Patrick Harris Should host the next Academy Awards.
He might not be as good as Billy Crystal, but, he will be a vast improvement over Anne Hathaway and James Franco.
When will someone give NPH a variety show? And why limit him to the Tony's? Send him to the Oscars.

It's a good thing Harris is available. The Tony's are by no means appointment television, so anything that can get a few more viewers is a good thing.
