Lohan's done with probation, but what about her career?Lindsay Lohan is off probation, and it looks like she'll be back at work soon. But some, thinking back on her past history, are watching to see how long it's going to last. Before she sobered up, Lohan was having trouble holding on to a job: It's been reported she lost out on chances to play Victoria Gotti and Linda Lovelace. There's also the problem of work permits. Lohan's legal troubles delayed her from getting a permit to work in Canada until hours after her court appearance on Thursday. Officials have granted her a permit to work in Toronto, where she'll film her role as Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime TV movie "Liz and Dick."
If she can keep finding producers willing to give her a chance, Lohan may have a shot at continuing her comeback. She got started with a gig hosting "Saturday Night Live," and will continue with an appearance on "Glee." The next trick? Drawing audiences and ratings. Watch how relieved she is when the judge says she's freed from felony probation: What do you think? The judge and some producers are willing to give her yet another chance, but what about you? lindsay lohan lawyer, a lot of younger people do not know but her lawyer help defend the killer o.j. simpson back then. Thats the lawyer she had to represent her. Just shows the character this lindsay is all about. It's a damn shame. Begone lindsay !!

I've said it before but I like LiLo and I'm glad to see her getting better and starting to regain a career. Plus I don't want to see anyone just waste away on drugs or alcohol. She deserves as many chances as she needs. She's made some mistakes but now she's making a real effort to fix her life. I've said this before too, but it's not like she killed someone. Every mistake she's made has only really hurt herself and hopefully that part of her life is behind her. Only time will tell though.
@ Lawrence: well said! Life is hard in todays world, regardless if you're in the spotlight or on the sidelines. I pray she'll have the strength she needs to put the drug and alcohol use and abuse in the past. Life is too short to keep yourself dulled with booze and medicated with drugs. Besides, people have a long memory for the bad we've done, and a very, very short memory for our good accomplishments.

I say she gets as many chances as she needs...... it's a tough life growing up as a child actor, no adults willing to tell you no since your earnings pay their bills....... I hope she manages to get it together and get her career back, she was a good actress....... Maybe she should call Robert Downey Jr. for advice..... he was way more messed up then she is and has managed to resurrect his career nicely since sobering up.
How many chances? Ask Robert Downey Jr, Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, etc. She has talent, its just been in witness protection for a few years!
I'd watch her play Linda Lovelace!
