More 'Star Wars'? Never, says George Lucas

When his film "Red Tails" was released earlier this year, George Lucas said that he was retiring and ready to move on to other things - which, yes, would mean no more "Star Wars" films.

The filmmaker reiterated as much when TMZ  photographers flagged him down as he was exiting an L.A. eatery on Wednesday. They asked when fans would get to see the seventh, eighth and ninth installments in the "Star Wars" series - and, well, the answer is don't hold your breath.

"Never," Lucas responded as he made his way to his car. "I'm retired."

It looks like he meant what he said in an interview with New York Times magazine earlier this year: "Why would I make any more ['Star Wars' movies] when everybody yells at you all the time and says what a terrible person you are?" he inquired. "I think there are a lot more important things in the world."

The Huffington Post notes that McKinnon was also nominated for the Emerging Comic honor by New York's excellence in comedy awards, the ECNYs, in 2010.

In addition to McKinnon, Deadline suggests that "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels is trying out other top female talent as well, including Jessica Joy, Lauren Lapkus and Elaine Carroll.

Alicia Silverstone's feeding technique raises questions

The reaction to actress Alicia Silverstone's mouth-to-mouth technique for feeding her 10-month-old son Bear Blu was "gross!" for some, but others were left wondering what the big deal is.

The video clip, which Silverstone posted on her website, The Kind Life, has since gone viral. It depicts the mom of one mashing up some of Bear's meal in her mouth before spitting it into his. The video itself was taken a month or two ago, "when he was a bit wobbly," Silverstone wrote. "Now he is grabbing my mouth to get the food!"

While her tales of feeding time have undoubtedly put Silverstone in the "quirky celebrity mom" category - one that's already filled with stars like Mayim Bialik, who's not into diapers, as well as those who've named their kids as creatively as possible - it's also raised questions of whether it's healthy.
