I guess you would since you teach your children about South Chicago. As a Black American I am competely embarassed that the first lady spoke like that. In my humble opinion the epitome of an Affirmative Action student who went to ivy league schools and skated or pushed through because of color and government aid. Again sadly embarassed by this video. Oh by the way Michelle Black people who you were trying to show you are still with it, they don't watch Letterman, they watch BET, and most are not registered to vote. During the interview between Michelle Obama and David Letterman, Obama used the words "you know" at least 15 times before I changed the channel. How can an educated person use such poor language? Her entire bebavior was unbecoming a First Lady.

Why does she need to go to Petco or Target? Why spend the $$ having Secret Service following you when it is not necessary? Every time she steps out of the WH for silly reasons it costs us taxpayers a whole lot of money. Stay home unless it is official WH business. And why could her daughter not spend spring break someplace like the Gulf Coast or California where the good old USA would benefit from the tax dollars instead of a foreign county?

M.O. didn't even come close to doing push ups like E.D. E.D. went down to the floor and touched her chest, which is the way a push up is supposed to be done. Why no mention of the obamas forcing news outlets to remove news reports about her daughter and a dozen friends going to mexico for spring break along with 35 secret service agents....even though the state dept. advises Americans not to go there. How much will that spring break trip cost the taxpayers?

..The Obama's 12 year old, Malia wanted to go to Mexico to vacation there. The State Department stated that people should be cautious about going down those areas. She went anyway, with 25 secret service people. Now, an earthquake has occurred around that area. You know, sometimes, you should listen to those who know best, even if they had no clue about the quake!!

Besides turning her personal training aspirations into a byline for the nation, what exactly has this First Lady done, of merit, in the critical role she (should) play for our country? I can't think of anything, either.

She and Mrs. Biden have spearheaded a lot of different efforts to help our troops transition when they come home, get treatment etc. She also works closely with military families to provide various services. It was recently reported that unemployment among former troops has been cut in half (not that Michelle Obama deserves all or most credit for this) but she's definitely done a lot to shine a light on the issue. That, along with government initiatives like the new GI Bill that Barack supported back in '08 are definitely helping though. =)

I'm a 55 year old male and I want to just say that Michelle Obama is probably the best first lady that I have aver witnessed in my lifetime. I'm so glad that she is who she is. I truly hope to see her in her current role for at least 4 more years.
I think she wore sunglasses at Target. But to me, that means someone is a celebrity, or was crying or something. Hardly incognito.
I believe that Michelle Obama is a happily married wife and mother. She is also a professional, a lawyer, she has many talents and abilities she wants to share with others. Is that so wrong? Those who constantly criticize her could have a touch of envy. Envy is a very ugly trait!

Quite funny how her "secret incognito" trip to Target was photographed...eh? Folks, every move/speech at the political level is calculated, planned out and endlessly debated on how, we the people will view or react to them. Nothing and I mean nothing is spur of the moment or off-the-cuff. So wake up and realize that it is all a great big Sales/Marketing Campaign. I actually watched Letterman last night, and was quite ashamed of how he conducted himself, he without question bashed Republican/Conservatives and pandered to the Democrats. A recent report had anti-Repbulican jokes at a rate of 3-1 vs. Democrat jokes from all Late Night talk show hosts. Now, I consider myself an intelligent Independent that has always voted for the person and not the party, but it is clear to me that the MSM and their parent companies, have an agenda and they are overtly trying to influence how we think/act by using their shows and news channels. Sad, very sad.

I think that Michelle Obama is a great inspiration for women to become independent, develop knowledge and skills, take care of oneself, dress well, present oneself well, take care of husband and children, take care of others as much as possible and do it all without ceasing. Great inspiration to all people regardless of religious beliefs, political views, class, country of origin, etc. God bless her and her family!

Suggestions to someone on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle is quite different from someone forcing someone else to medical procedures that they don need or want. Getting an abortion is a personal choice between the the mother and her doctor. If a woman does want to have an abortion that is her right but if she does you and anyone like you do not have the right to tell me what to do with my body. Your comment makes you sound unintelligent.
Why are anti choice people so concerned with other people's fetuses when they could care less what happens to the child when they are born. What if a child is born and they live off welfare for the rest of their lives. I'm sure you would have a problem with that. And it isnt baby killing it's a freaking embryo you moron!
