Reps for both actors confirm to CNN that Facinelli, 38 and Garth, 39, are going their separate ways. The two have three daughters together: Luca, 14; Lola, 9; and Fiona, 5. Facinelli and Garth say in a joint statement, “While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.” Gabrielle Union on indie films, new BET showGabrielle Union would love to get more roles like the one she's promoting at SXSW. The actress joined director Brian Savelson at the Austin-based festival in hopes of snagging a distributor for their film, “In Our Nature,” and she talked to CNN about her pride in the work she did on the indie. In it, Union plays Vicky, the younger girlfriend of “Mad Men” star John Slattery’s character Gil. The dramedy centers on what happens when the couple's thrown together with Gil’s son and his girlfriend (played by Zach Gilford and Jena Malone) when a scheduling snafu has them all showing up at a vacation home. Orlando Bloom talks 'rakish' 'Musketeers' roleOrlando Bloom is known for his more heroic roles in franchises like "The Lord of the Rings" and "Pirates of the Caribbean," but the 35-year-old actor got in touch with his bad side for "The Three Musketeers." In the movie, Bloom portrays the Duke of Buckingham, whom the actor describes as a "caddish, rakish rogue" in a bonus clip on the movie's Blu-ray edition, which is now available along with the DVD. Director Paul W.S. Anderson adds that he knew Bloom would be perfect for the film, and the actor loved the idea of stepping into the Duke of Buckingham's shoes. "I get to be a baddie without being the obvious out-and-out baddie, the arch-enemy," Bloom says. "I just knew that it was going to be a lot of fun." Rapper 2 Chainz on his 'second chance'The backstage rooms at Atlanta’s Center Stage aren't meant to hold more than a dozen or so people, but on this particular Tuesday there were at least 70 in a room where 2 Chainz was collecting his thoughts after rocking a sold-out show in his hometown on March 6. A publicist was rushing journalists, bloggers and photographers through their interviews, and every eye (and camera for that matter) in the entire space seemed to be fixated on the tall frame of the night’s big star. And 2 Chainz was loving every minute of it. Jessica Simpson on big baby bump: I got knocked up by a ballerJessica Simpson is set to welcome a baby girl sometime this spring, but that hasn't stopped the 31-year-old from hitting the talk show rounds to promote her new show on NBC, "Fashion Star." The soon-to-be-mom swung by "Ellen" on Tuesday, and host Ellen DeGeneres joked that Simpson just might go into labor right there on the show. The very pregnant Simpson, who was rocking a pair of super-tall heels, acknowledged that she indeed looks like she's due tomorrow. |
