'Home Alone' house sells for $1.5 millionThe new homeowners who snapped up the "Home Alone" house in Winnetka, Illinois, got quite a deal. After going on the market last year with a list price of $2.4 million, CBS 2 reports that the home made famous in the 1990 film has been sold for $1.585 million. The real estate agency involved hasn't released the identity of the new homeowner.
Whomever the buyer is, they've acquired a 4,250 square foot residence with 14 rooms, including four bedrooms, 3.2 baths and a screened-in porch. The former homeowners settled into the house in 1988, and were living there when it was used to stage "Home Alone." Although the decor seen in the movie was picked out by the film's crew, all of the exterior scenes and the scenes filmed in the kitchen, the first-floor landing and the infamous staircase Macaulay Culkin's character Kevin sleds down are of the colonial Georgian itself. |

Somebody certainly got ripped off. That large of a house only has 4 bedrooms and 3.2 baths. What is a .2 of a bath?...lol
It should read "Whoever the buyer is ..." Whoever is a subject pronoun, whomever is an object pronoun.
The house held up a lot better than Macaulay Culkin did
Although the house probably never had Micheal Jackson inside of it
@Guest- a little g@y humor. I like that in a person! lmao!!
Nice!!!
I LOVE YOU
My gf and I considered buying that house, they weren't willing to come down on the price yet. I offered them more then what they got.
With a name like that, I'm surprised you can offer $2.00 for a shack!
Your gf vixen?
My gf? Nah, I have a beautiful gf. Why would I wreck a perfectly good relationship for a homely, insecure, attention ho, home wrecking pos like my friend vixen?
