Oprah to interview Bobbi Kristina, Houstons

Everyone's thoughts have been with Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina as she copes with her mother's sudden death, and we'll soon hear from the 18-year-old herself.

Oprah Winfrey has announced that she'll sit down with Bobbi Kristina as well as other members of the Houston family for an interview airing on OWN Sunday, March 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Presented as a special episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter," Bobbi Kristina will recall memories of her mother and how she wants the world to remember the legendary entertainer.

Winfrey will also sit down with Whitney's brother Gary Houston, as well as Whitney's sister-in-law/manager, Patricia Houston, as the family talks about the rumors that surrounded Whitney's February 11 death at the age of 48.

One of Winfrey's Twitter followers told the media mogul that she's been "praying hardcore since Whitney's passing that all of her family is OK," and Winfrey responded with positive news.

"Your prayers are being answered," Winfrey tweeted Friday night. "Lot of love flowing [through] the family."

IThere is nothing wrong wtih Oprah interviewing Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina and members of her family. The interview will only take less than an hour. It wont affect the family's grieving and healing. Besides, they get paid anyway.

God; this kid has enough problems. She is not a celebrity in of herself. And being not so she has no requirement in anyway to be in the spotlight. No understanding with any media that a celebrity would have that her personal life is fair game. Leave her alone so she can hopefully solve her problems whatever they may be in private. So she can grieve and adjust to her mother's loss in private. She will only be judged by many who cannot judge her mother's or her problems objectively. I do not know who if anyone is advising this young lady but they are definately not putting what is best for her first. And if she is the one who made this decision alone to do the interview; she is definately going down the wrong path. She needs to leave the spotlight. NOW! I don't see anymore displaying of her private life as a positive thing.

Whitney Houston was the biggest, and brightest star this world has ever seen. That is exactly why all of you are commenting on this issue. That is why she won more awards than any other performer in history. That is why people even purchased that rag the enquirer to see her in the casket. Lastly, that is why there is so much interest in the interview that Oprah will be doing. Think before making some of these stupid ass comments and be real for a change!

That girl should be kept private and provided the help she needs, not talking to Oprah. She will meet the same sad fate as her mother if she doesn't get help. Oprah is only thinking of herself (again!) and hoping to pull her network out of the tank. If she really cares about this girl she won't shine a light on her but allow her to get her life in order. Not surprising one bit. Oprah is shrewd and long ago sold her soul to the art and perpetuation of commerce. It's the public that's foolish, naive and ignorant to participate in the "mediated" experience of television and entertainment, and confuse it with actual life substance, healing, forgiveness and redemption.

We see it that if a guest or subject "confesses" to Oprah, all is well. Oprah is deluded in her self-idolatry, and the public, suckered beyond belief.

    Tribute to Whitney Houston
This is actually meant for you Bobbi Kristina. God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and the light for the way. Disappointments are like road bumps, they slow you down a bit but enjoy the smooth road afterwards. When you feel down because you didn’t get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because God has thought of something better to give you, when something happens to you good or bad consider what it means. There’s a purpose to life’s events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard.
There is no option when it comes to death, no matter how healthy you are. God put us here and He can take us anytime He pleases. Whitney is not really gone, just not seen. I want you to show the world the Nippy in you, the world is waiting for you, you are the only one who has what it takes to make it happen, do it girl. Give us the renewed Whitney and make your mother proud, you were the best production ever made between Bobby and Whitney. You are the best person to fit the role and make things happen.
God’s purpose to her life’s event was to teach you to laugh more and not to cry too hard. Whitney has finished her course here and she could stay no longer, though the time was short but what else is there to do? She did all and all was well done. This the best time for her to go and she knew you could handle it because you were her strength. You are the next person to happen, God has put beautiful people in your life so you don’t make any wrong turn. You are going to succeed where she failed. You will take orange juice instead of liquor. YOU won’t need some stuff in your life, because the blood of Jesus will be sufficient for you. You will never allow anything whatsoever to tamper with your ‘dignity” .
I believe in you Kristina, you will not almost have it all, you shall have it all {good things}.i believe you are going to make another ‘Incredible Singing Machine” that cannot wear. Brown + Whitney = Christ in Tina, the Christ in you is going to make beautiful songs out of you, and if you choose not to sing, just be yourself a Super star. God has put CECE WINANS in your life for a reason, please make her proud. I am very proud of Whitney, I pray to be there when you when you win your Grammy and other awards. Nippy was a precious jewel that can never be duplicated, I will always love her. I wish you well Kristina and above all these I want you to know that there is a lady somewhere in Africa, who loves you very much , I will continually uphold you in prayers from now till I meet you in person and till I see Whitney myself. I will surely meet you before I die till then remain strong and beautiful. Remember to always put those beautiful smiles on your face. Stay well my girl

Fact – Whitney Houston was a junkie who committed suicide via stupidity by abusing drugs.

URGENT – Please read more about VERIZON. Things they don't want the public to know! I was tormented by racial comments that were ignored, then racially discriminated against and wrongfully terminated for making complaints about the racial injustice.

Please visit my Blog Page to see what Verizon did to my family. What they have done to my family, and continue to do is horrific. Today they still will not accept responsibility. So I will not stop this FIGHT for JUSTICE! It has been 8 years and I refuse to give up, but I need your help to spread my message.

You can read my stories about what VERIZON did to my family by GOOGLING:
    • “Verizon Raped My Family – Cover Letter”
    • “Verizon Raped My Family – Press Release”
    • “Verizon Raped My Family – Requesting Criminal Punishment”

From there you can access the other letters through the recent post.

I am a man who has stood up against racism, discrimination, bullying, harassment, hostile environment, belittlement, threats, and retaliation, all while working for Verizon Communications, as they conspired to terminate me.

I am a man who is trying to hold his family together while in the process of trying to fight for my rights to be heard. I am a man who has brought up his family on morals, discipline, character, hard work, dedication and conviction to believe that good things happen to good people. I am a man who could not be more proud of my family for all their trust and faith in my conviction. I am man who is a proud servant in my community and deserves to be heard, as I am begging for JUSTICE!

I have learned that: “If you have no Money, A lot of Power, unlimited amount of Connection and resources, you have no chance at receiving justice within our country!

While you are criticizing Oprah for interviewing the Houston family members, don't forget that in order for her, Oprah, to conduct & televise the interview, the family had to agree and participate. Oprah is an opportunistic vulture. This poor child should be left alone to mourn in peace. She just lost her mother. In addition to that, she has to deal with the family dynamics concerning her father and her mother's family. I doubt if they hide the contempt they feel for her father from her. BK's loyalties are probably torn. It is too soon to ask intrusive, personal questions about things that are none of our business. BK is particularly vulnerable now. This is an attempt by Oprah to get high ratings for her under-performing OWN network. It is shameful exploitation.

Hasn't even been a month and the entire time she's been subject to much talk and rumors. Unfortunate anyone is thinking she should be doing interviews already rather than focusing on continued healing. Anyone who's lost their mother whom they were very close to knows. Last time i check this 18 year old has had substance abuse problems, putting her on TV for a public audience is THE LAST THING a responsible adult should do, she's probably so removed form reality, spoiled, abuses substances, what's doing an interview with a non professional going to do? COME ON PEOPLE, she need professional help and needs to be away from the spotlight for years, how many times we read in interviews of the young telling us that all all moves fast and nobody is looking after the child's best interest – she will be in rehab in i say 14 months or in porn.

JENNA: First off, turn off the caps lock. Second, Bobbi Kristina could have simply turned down the interview if she didn't want to give it. Don't put all the blame on Oprah.

It's not about whether she's "the one" to do the interview. It's the fact that she's doing it at all one month after Bobbi lost her mom. This is nothing but about very needed ratings. Shame on Oprah. There is nothing the public needs to hear from Bobbi or any of her family members that is so pressing it can't wait. There would be nothing but respect to be gained if Bobbi and/or her family put out a media notice that she will not beavailable for interviews and that she is taking time for grieving, healing and deciding on the direction of the rest of her life.
