Lindsay Lohan's more of a 'homebody' nowEven through her legal ups and downs, we knew Lindsay Lohan had a sense of humor - if only because of how often "Mean Girls" is on TV. And in a promo for her fourth "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig, which will air on Saturday, Lohan shows she's still got a handle on comedic timing - even when she's making fun of herself. Paired with Kenan Thompson, she jokes that it does feel good to be back in the spotlight, as "people are probably wondering what I've been up to."
Kenan replies that he, for one, would've liked to know more details about her personal life. "It's unfortunate that everyone's paid so little attention to you over the past few years," he says without breaking a smile. "I know, if only magazines and websites could've documented my activities more closely...America could've used more information about me, and maybe even a picture or two." Insert knowing look there. Thankfully, Matt Lauer is here to help with Lohan's reintroduction. The 25-year-old will sit down with the "Today" anchor for an interview Thursday, and a clip of their chat shows Lohan saying she's changed her partying ways. "I'm clean and sober now," Lohan says, adding, it's been "for awhile. It's been a long time." The actress continues that she's seen how substance abuse can dampen one's talent. "It's a really sad factor that can come into play in people's lives sometimes if you don't recognize it. And a lot of people don't like to, and I think I did that for a long time. I think I was scared and didn't want to admit it to myself, let alone anyone else." These days, though, Lohan says her past temptations no longer hold her interest. "I could [go to parties], but that's not my thing anymore," she tells Lauer. "I went out a few months ago with a friend, and I felt so uncomfortable. Not because I was tempted, just because it was the same thing it always was before, and it just wasn't fun for me. I've become more of a homebody and I like that."

Everybody makes mistakes, although, she's made a bunch of them. It's on her to persuade the public, whether she is on the straight & narrow or not. Time will tell.
If she were truly clean and sober she would be able to tell you how long in months/days/hours/minutes easily. The fact that her answer was 'a long time' tells me that nothing has changed.
I like her and her hair color. If I had hair I would have that color too.
Those so-called polls on the front page of the Entertainment section are always so ludicrous; they always ask questions that no person answering them has any answer for. How does anyone know if Lohan is on the way to getting her life together? Not a single person here knows her or has spent a second of time with her, yet they're supposed to know the intimate details of her recovery?

True. I don't know her in any way besides the news. I dunno if she is actually sober or not but I hope she is sober now. It's just extremely sad to see young people to get trapped into drugs and/or alcohol abuse. I wish her well. A good example of a celebrity that turned her life/career is Robert Downey Jr. so there is hope, I guess.

yeah, you have to just skip right on by the comments on CNN Entertainment's Marquee Blogs. The posters here are the worst of the worst. It's as if it is where all the losers that the losers have cast out of their losers groups go to vent. Evel Kenieval, the Observer, and Richard Fore are three of the worst. Just "Report Abuse" 'em. I just see their names and automatically do it.
I love Lilo, she really does have talent which most people have forgoten about in her legal troubles. It looks like she really is starting to get her act together. Good for you Lilo!
