Justin Bieber gives child battling cancer dream dateIf you still weren't feeling the love on Valentine's Day, this story should help: Six-year-old Avalanna Routh, who is battling cancer, got the chance to meet her dream date, none other than pop star Justin Bieber. Routh has a rare form of brain cancer called AT/RT, the New York Daily News reports. Last year, the nurses at the 6-year-old's Boston treatment center threw her a pretend wedding in which she "married" a cutout of the 17-year-old pop star. Thanks to a Facebook page called "Get Avalanna to Meet Justin Bieber," the young singer learned that he had a special super-fan out in Massachusetts.
On Monday, Bieber flew Routh and her family out to New York for a sweet pre-Valentine's Day date filled with board games, cupcakes and candy – as well as a smooch. Even better, it seems Routh is now for sure Bieber's pretend wife. "It was great...He wants to be my husband," Routh explained, according to CNN affiliate NECN, and on his Twitter account the singer posted that he was hanging out with "a special little girl #MrsBieber." "That was one of the best things i have ever done," Bieber tweeted Monday. "She was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now! #MrsBieber." According to NECN, Routh's mom is hoping this will raise more awareness about the form of cancer her daughter is fighting. "This is a beautiful story," she said, "and we need to keep the momentum going and we need to fund finding a cure for AT/RT." |

I do agree with all of the concepts you've offered for your post. They are really convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are too short for newbies. May you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
Attractive part of content. I just stumbled upon your web site and in accession capital to claim that I acquire in fact loved account your weblog posts. Anyway I'll be subscribing to your augment and even I achievement you get right of entry to persistently quickly.
I am so glad my 7 year old has no idea who Justin Beiber even is. She does her own thing and does not need pop culture to dictate who and what is important.
Publicity stunt or not.....He just made that sweet little girls day, as well as her parents, too see her so happy. Very heartwarming Justin!!!!
that is so cute
I think that although he is young, he's actually a pretty decent kid in person. I hope she get better as soon as possible 🙂
Not the first really nice thing Beiber has done for a kid who is suffering. Read the blog 'An inch of gray' and search for the tales of Justin making the day of a little girl who had just lost her brother in a tragic accident.
I'm an old lady, so I don't keep up with much about Hollywood, but this young boy, Justin , is wonderful to do such an unselfish act. Someone taught him the important things in life and he set a great example when he did what he did for this precious little girl. His parents must be very proud.
My post had a big typo...Abbie (one less lonely girl) died on April 22, 2011.
My daughter Abbie, died last year two days after her 9th birthday on April 22, 2012 from cancer. She loved JB, she sang his songs all the time, we saw his movie 4 times and the day she died JB music was playing all day in her hospital room...she was so impressed by his heart.....While she never got to meet him...JB did mention on Twitter that he saw a video of Abbie singing his songs and that it really meant a lot to him. Abbie had just died about a month prior to JBs tweet and I could feel her scream of joy in heaven that he tweeted about her. JB means a lot to many little girls with cancer...and while so many people comment on his voice or hair, the most lovable part of JB is his heart.
This was wonderful!!! I'm sure this made that child's day.
My companies video on Bieber: http://youtu.be/_q62U9ryGBY
A really touching story. Glad to see that Justin can bring so much happiness to people in this world. I do find it odd that a lot of these comments start with "im not a fan of justin bieber but.." peoples opinion on his music is irrelevant. Its like people need to say they don't like his music so they don't seem too "soft"...
not bad for a gay guy pretend to marry!! i seen u kissing that guy justin!!!.......
Well he did a good thing...not bad for a guy who is gay!!! i seen u kissing that guy in L.A.....Jutin B.
Justin that was awesome what you did for this little girl. Very proud of you. You are a great human being. Bless your sweet heart.
I don't care why he did it or that i don't like his music that was still a really nice thing to do. glad that little girl got a day to just be a kid and enjoy something. that's awesome.
Thanx justin you proved that stars have hearts and that stars are people to you made a little girl feel special now she has something to fight for, we all lose sight of how precious life is and we must treat people kind all of the time children are so genuine that they put adults to shame with there kindness and love for everybody I'm a fan forever may your career be blessed
I saw the news post about this little girl's request to meet him. At the time I said to my husband that he should put them on a private plane and bring that little girl some happiness in her short life that is so full of pain. I am pleased to see he did just that, proving that just because we may not like him as an "artist", we can still like him for having enough class and respect for others to give that darling child a sweet gift. And I'm betting his tweets with the hash-tag of "Mrs.Beiber" were read out loud to her so she could squeel at the thought that he called her Mrs. Beiber. Some people on here get quite a thrill from stiring others up. I choose to ignore that and focus on the story which to me is a happy ending. Good for you, young man. I would expect the same from my teenage son. That means (regardless of the publicity) you were raised right.
Wow...that's all i can is wow. i haven't been a real fan but i do like him,and i nearly cried myself to tears reading this.have a heart for him!!! and also for that little girl.if that was your daughter you know you would've done the same thing < ;-DDDDD
There are negative people everywhere. Justin doesn't need the p.r., he just did something decent. Somethin you big mouths have probably never done.
Not a fan of this kid, but c'mon, that was just straight nice.
Sometimes ‎i wonder how some people think. Its easy 4 some moron †☺ just say trash about people. He did a lovely thing, don't care tje reason. And we are so quick †☺ judge people when we will do worse in their place. Just found out americans can be so mean and self righteous. Some one dies, instead of seeing the good side of the person, U̶̲̥̅̊ bring the mistakes out.funny some of U̶̲̥̅̊ are pot heads and we don't know abt it. If U̶̲̥̅̊ don't have nice things †☺ say..shut the hell up.
You can't group all americans together if some of them came in defense of JB. Your generalization pretty much ruined any strength in your argument, along with your "pot head" comment. Please PMS somewhere else.
Take your last sentence to heart for yourself. If YOU don't have any nice things to say... you get the picture.
Wait, so one guy says something bad about Justin Bieber and you label all americans as mean and self righteous? Really???
@nbafan if you dont like him then bother commenting on his work. what he does is beautifal. you are just saying mean things cause your life sucks!
I'm not a fan of Justin's music but as a human being, my respect for the kid has just gone way up. Most teenagers, be they famous or not, don't tend to care about little kids. He did a very sweet thing for this little girl and her family, let's not knock it. What I wouldn't give to have been able to see the smile on little Avalanna's face...and in the end that is the most important part of this story. God Bless to her, her family and Justin.
When u think about how much this child has suffered with her illness – the pain she endures every day, not undertanding why, but knowing she is going to die. Thank you, Justin to take time to bring her a moments'joy which she will keep close in her heart encouraging her to keep holding on.
One small act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention.
beebs....what a hoot! http://FrontRowTickets.com
How wonderful! This busy young man took time to meet with this special little girl.
Way to go Justin!
This a sweet story
Annndddd don't you dare show your face around here anymore!! You hear me mister?!! You didn't say one darn word bout the kid with cancer that makes you a very baaaddd person!!!
Way to go justin bieber u do show ur love for other people.... god bless u always!
I aint a fan of his but thats a cool thing to do.more celebs need to take note
That was real nice of him.I think more should share their wealth and time for situations like these.
Cancer is a very scary thing, no matter what age you are. Good for JB for letting her forget her illness & have a piece of happiness for awhile.
Does anyone proof read the posts before submitting? thats the education system for you...good job justin my fellow canadian...cheers
This is the first time I'm seeing Bieber doing something good for humanity.
Justin does things that are good for humanity all the time some of you people just think he's to full of himself to notice.!
Two thumbs up!
@nbafan, I hope you don't have children or don't plan on procreating because if after reading this article all you can come up with for a comment is some snide remark about Justin Bieber is just sad. As a parent I cannot imagine what it must be like for this little girl and her family to be fighting the battle that they are enduring. But I do know that as a parent there isn't anything I wouldn't do to bring joy to my children's life and keep them safe and healthy. So if for this one day this little girl was able to forget about her lifelong battle than that is a great thing and all that should be focused on here. Best wishes to little Avalanna and her family!!

Remember, he is still a kid himself. He could be out in clubs drinking illegaly or doing drugs but he isnt. Some adults should be taking poimters. He doesnt need publicity. Way to pay it forward Justin
Exactly... Who cares if this was a publicity stunt! He made this little girls day and that is what counts... This event could actually heal her giving her energy, inspiration and help her fight her illness! I am not a fan of Justin but I have to say he is doing good things with his resources and I respect that. What he is doing is better than the alternative of not giving anything back to society and selfishly retire with his millions only to waste his life on crack and die in the bathtub!
Every one complains about nor getting to meet the awsome justin bieber. But this little gitl is very brave! And sweet. Hopefuly shell see justin again. YOU CAN DO IT! HOLD YOUR HEAD UP! We love You
Can't wait to hear Justin as guest of honor at a banquet gathering of middle-aged male fans.
@nbafan: what's the problem with you?? Are you on crack or something? I don't care what you said here but what Justin did is very nice. Mostly to someone that is really ill like her. Good Job Justin! Very well done!! God bless you dude!
nbafan's response: Crack is wack
That's great for him to do. Nevermind someone that has to put salt on every wound.
Good job justin. God will bless u.
I'm not a fan of this guy.
But despite what people may say about him being stuck up and whatnot... at least we know he has a heart for the kids. Call it a publicity stunt all you want, but if that's all it was I'm pretty sure he could think of other things to do. This was a kind gesture regardless and shouldn't be downplayed.
It's not about Bieber nbafan, it's about the little girl Avalanna. No matter his reason's they mean nothing compared to the joy he brought her.
So forget dissing the Beibs and enjoy her smile and for that I thank you Justin.
Well his music aside, this was one of the best & nicest things anyone could do & as such I have a new found respect & admiration for this kid. Good to know he's doing great things with his status, we could all learn from him.
Publicity stunt by the kid's publicity. The kid is a spoiled little brat in person...not to mention an awful musician.
First of all, it would be his "publicist" not his "publicity"
Besides, who cares?!? He brought a day of happiness to a child with a (possibly) terminal illness. That, above all, is what matters here. I don't care if his mom put him up to it, his girlfriend made him do it, or if Obama commanded him to. When American Airlines sponsored my kids Make A Wish trip, was it "publicity"? Maybe. Do I care? Nope. Just like Bieber, they allowed a child with cancer to unplug, literally, from their illness and be a child again.
Don't be so angry, man.
I'm not a fan of this kid's music, but what have you done to help cancer patients recently? You can't even read a nice store without being a hater.
Justin has met privately with a few dozen very sick kids through the "Make a Wish" foundation. It could be he wants to do this and feels he has to do this to bring a little joy into their lives.
@nbafan. You are such a poor excuse for a person. Your parents must not have given you much attention growing up or maybe they beat you. Whatever your reason is I hope someday you find even a small piece of happiness in this world. You are one of the most disrespectful human beings that I have ever corssed paths with. Who cares why he did it, the point is that he did it. What good have you EVER done in this world?
Crawl back under your rock, loser.
You are a sad little creature....
Neckbeard, go home. Probably just jealous that he gets more attention than you from the opposite gender in one minute than you ever have.
Maybe your publicity should set you up with a child suffering from cancer...oh, wait, that'd just depress the kid even more seeing your sorry a$$.
As I understand it, he's actually a pretty decent kid in person.
"man that took my breath away on how there are people who care about others"! ..." i give more respect to Justin Beaver"! for doing that..... "MAD RESPECT"! "DUDE YOUR AWESOME"!
Now listen here! JUSTIN IS SWEET! HE'S NO SPOILED BRAT! YOU GUYS ARE PLAIN JEALOUS AND JUSTIN IS NOT GAY! YOU GUYS ARE JUST TRYING TO HURT HIM!! I DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU SAY TO HIM!
Nbafn – if you had read the article closely, there was a FB page dedicated to this little girl's dream requesting Bieber to reach out. He answered this very PUBLIC request for him to do so. If he had done it in private you would be calling him a jerk for ignoring this chance to do something great for a fan. You just can't win with some people.
