New 'Amazing Spider-Man' trailer arrivesBetween the spots that aired during the Super Bowl and today's fresh clip for "The Amazing Spider-Man," it's beginning to feel a lot like trailer season. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJIZUjaNL8E&w=560&h=315%5D The new clip for Marc Webb's take on the comic book hero begins with Gwen Stacy (a blonde Emma Stone) asking Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker how he got outside of her window. He tells her the fire escape - but "it's 20 stories," she replies. "The doorman's intimidating," he fires back.
We're liking this take on Spidey, which Webb told fans during Sony's roll-out of the clip Monday evening is a "more realistic, more naturalistic Peter Parker," according to Comics Alliance. Spider-Man drops another quip on a car thief nearly a minute in - "You seriously think I'm a cop, in a skin-tight red and blue suit?" - after telling him that if he's going to steal cars, he should at least pick a less obvious wardrobe. We still get plenty of swinging action, and best of all, we also get a peek at Ryhs Ifans' Dr. Connors' Lizard side. As Connors was a friend of Peter Parker's deceased father, this is a villain who has a more "complex and emotional relationship" with Peter Parker, Ifans told fans Monday. Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man" swings into theaters July 3. |

Wonderful website. Lots of helpful information here. I am sending it to some buddies ans also sharing in delicious. And of course, thanks on your sweat!
The reboot of Spider Man baffles me. Not sure if this is going to work. Either it will be hugely successful or a colossal fail. http://www.derrickduffie.com
This is going to be a very epic, accurate, and awesome movie. Everyone who knows spidey knows he falls for Gwen before Mary Jane. I would have liked to have seen Donald Glover cast as spiderman in this film, just to change things up a bit. Andrew Garfield is still a huge improvement on Tobey.
Wallopin' Websnappers !
This might be a good movie to see this summer. Still think Emma Stone (natural redhead) would make a better Mary Jane than a Gwen Stacy. Oh well.....
just googled their photos and darn if you ain't right!
@drewgie Emma Stone is actually naturally a blonde. She dyed it back for "The Amazing Spider-Man."
This new loser has idiotic hair reminiscent of Twilight and Jersey Shore. I'm guessing the new movie will have a fight scene at a Justin Beiber concert where Spidey and whoever are fighting for Justin's hand in marriage.
That's cool but i'm more excited for this to turn into a movie though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWAKQCdGY3o&list=LLufohNTouZAC-ZW4o7kWffA&feature=mh_lolz
I think its great that they REMADE Spider Man. I feel as if the last actor was a lil too corky, and just a joke. This new actor fits the bill PERFECTLY. Congratulations, I think we got something here.
i am way excited! when i saw the first trailer ever i knew it was based off the ultimate graphic novels, man those were the good ol' days
i like the webs archieve and settings
I like the attempt to make him more like the old Steve Ditko Spidey. More teen-like, thin & wiry. Costume is a little rough looking but more like what you'd make if you had to do it yourself, like in the comic. Bigger eyes would be better. Should have the webs under the arms too. Many of the swings & poses are right out of the comics, which is good.
Hope the story is ok, and hope it does well. Action scenes look pretty cool. Can't go wrong with the Lizard.
...and yes, I guess I'm still a Spiderman geek at age 55. This movie reminds me lots of reading the comics back in the 1960's. More so than the other movies.

Now that the trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" is out do you think you will see the film?
II"d do him
Sorry doesn't grab me – this is just disney rebooting to make the money it missed when it did not own Marvel. Costume sucks by the way
Cant Wait!!!
Andrew Garfield has a huge fuking forehead. What the he ll were they thinking.
learn to spell
I know that car thief scene was taken almost directly from one of the comics, but i can't remember which one, does anyone know?
I don't have a clue. I'm just glad that they are including the classic "Spidey Banter". Definitely looking forward to this one.
So soon after the original? I'd say 50yrs (Spider-Man made his debut in 1962) is plenty long enough.
I liked it. Andrew Garfield's a way better Peter Parker and a way better Spiderman than Tobey, who was miscast. Should be good.
It's silly to remake a franchise so soon after the original.
Not much difference than when they rebooted Batman. The last Spidey movie was 5 years ago and it wasn't that good.
why did they not use the main carterges. this movie will not be the same.
Im the amazing monkey. Really Really. Do you like my new name thingy? It is my signature happy amazing monkey face. I use it to spread friendliness.
