'This Means War' cuts jokes, gets PG-13 ratingThe “This Means War” ratings war is over. The comedy, starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, will open on Valentine’s Day with its desired PG-13 rating, according to The Hollywood Reporter. THR reports that, after receiving an R rating from the Classification and Rating Administration, which administers movie ratings, 20th Century Fox agreed to cut sexual jokes made by Chelsea Handler's character, ensuring a PG-13 rating. MPAA Ratings Chief Joan Graves defends the system on the administration’s website, stating, “The ratings system exists for one purpose: to inform parents about the content of films. Our ratings reflect how we believe a majority of American parents … would rate a film. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously.” “This Means War” is about two CIA operatives (Pine and Hardy) who turn on each other when they realize they’re competing for the same woman (Witherspoon). |

Reese is so hot I'd drink her bathwater, but I'd have kept the R rating. It'd probably be a funnier movie
