Who else has joined 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack?Now that Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars have released their collaboration for "The Hunger Games" soundtrack, a few more artists are being revealed. According to Entertainment Weekly, record label Universal Republic has announced that the Decemberists and Arcade Fire members Win Butler and Regine Chassagne are also creating songs for the March release. The record will be produced by Oscar winner T Bone Burnett, and studio Lionsgate told UPI they're "thrilled" to have "such a hauntingly beautiful companion album take shape."
The "Hunger Games" soundtrack will also have a contribution from the film's star, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the heroine Katniss Everdeen in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-selling dystopian novel. Burnett previously told MTV that Lawrence did a solid job with her vocals on the track "Rue's Lullaby." How do you think the soundtrack is shaping up so far? |

Man when is march gettin here!!i already read the first bookwith my class and now i'm onthe 2nd today i bought all 3 and cant wait to see the movie...katniss is pretty;}
Goodness, for you idiots who don't know:
The Hunger Games is a book and now film that is set hundreds of year in the future, where North America has become deteriorated and is now a place called Panem. Panem is ruled by The Capital, who are rich and ruthless towards their citizens, who are very poor and live in bad conditions because of this.
The citizens of Panem once rebelled against The Capital 74 years ago, so to show them who's boss, The Capital started The Hunger Games, which is where 24 boys and girls from all 12 Districts between the ages of 13 – 18 are put into an arena to fight the death. Whoever is last alive in the arena wins money and fame and just an easier life.
So in the movie/film, Katniss's younger sister Prim is chosen as female tribute for district 12 in 74th annual Hunger Games. Katniss volunteers to take her place and yeah so that's what it's about.
Only one correction : its ages 12 to 18 because thats how old Prim and Rue are. Other than that, well done summerizing
I guess I'll have to read these books before March. Judging by the articles and pics I've seen, I don't get what the big deal is. It looks like stupid fantasy instead of magical fantasy. But Harry potter proved me wrong after I read the books. Perhaps this will, too.
@alecia?How can you never go hungry?
I'm ready for March already... My set of these books have been read to death already in anticipation lol...
Yeah. Only dooodooooheads are hungry. Us mexicans are way cool. We never get hungry. Plus if we do we can eat a good taco.
Of Fake-@Alecia. Lol
I never go hungry. hungry is for losers
Are you to be funny or something?
Great music to a soon-to-be great movie. Taylor Swift might get some oscar buzz for "Safe and Sound" and Jennifer Lawrence might surprise me when she sings. Now if they could just get Daughtry then I'll be truly happy.
